One Wednesday night at Church in my smugness as a new, young deacon, I was looking
around to compare myself to the other members that were not there on a Wednesday
evening. Pride had already set in; I was a Pharisee already and wasn’t 30 years old. It
seemed that God spoke to me saying “Get the log out of your own eye and I will help you
get the mote out of your brother’s eye.” I was not custom to hearing the word of the Lord
but on that occasion I hear that word, On another occasionm I heard the Lord say “My
house is to be called the house of prayer.” The Lord said that in the New Testament; I like
other believers, we are to be the house of the Prayer. Prayer should continually come from
out heart.
