Three to Four weeks back I was sitting at the Office of Motor Vehicles in Winnsboro La.
This day was fuller than what I wanted it to be since it appeared that my wait could turn
in to a long one. I waited for probably an hour and a half before my number was ever called.
Once I approached the attendant the lady looked at my paper and there was a problem with
the notary I showed for an old car my grandparents had donated to me. So I had to go find
another notary to complete the process for OMV. I was a little frustrated by the extra time
this would take for an already long wait. Thankfully I was able to find a notary quickly and
get right back to the OMV. When I returned to the OMV and I only had to wait for the next
available spot rather than take another number.
While I was waiting for my last step in this process I visited with a pastor from First Assembly
in Mangham who was also waiting like me. We took time to visit and pray for one another.
The Lord moved in our prayer time and the Pastor was touched and encouraged. It's interesting
how sometimes we find ourselves in what seems like a meaningless wait but we later see that
God ordained even the time of WAITING.
