EVANGELISM INSTANCES

In this pic below, you can see Hannah anointing the children with olive oil to pray prayers of dedicating them to the Lord.  Hannah gave words of prophecy over the children as Evangelist Mario Venzor looked on.  Soon after this pic, Hannah Teal and her friend Makayla Boyte jumped in and also began to lay hands on the children to pray for them right after I had just finished telling the story of how God rescued Hannah from destruction.  All of that prompted me to have her pray over the children.  We saw many touched by the power of the Lord.  I wasn’t able to be in the field this time, since I was training; but there were healings and powerful encounters.  Jennifer Teal was able to experience for the first time placing her hand on a man’s leg in need of healing and she said she felt miraculous power flow through the man’s leg, but this year the beauty of the trip was in seeing the Kingdom of God expand.

The Evangelism opportunities transpired in this way:   One part of our team taught and trained at the mission while the other part of our team went out to minister through face to face encounters within restaurants (two to four each time we ate), soccer fields (fourty-five led to Christ at a soccer field the team was just passing by and Mario wanted to stop and share and then another seventeen between two other soccer fields) while in the Television Station Studio there were nine staff converted. The last day before we were to catch the flight in San Pedro while in Tela, an entire high school football team was brought to Christ that was running along the beach and Mario led thirty-six young men to Christ.  There were other encounters, but these are the ones I was made aware of.  Even as we were about to baptize at the river one young teen came forward to be saved and baptized so Pastor Dario led him to Christ.  David Lindsay and Dewayne Bell were asked to baptize the Children.  I was given the opportunity to baptize yet I yielded to Dewayne since I had preached a brief message the night before on Baptism out of Romans 6 and we prayed over each kid individually.  Dario said that the month of January 2019 has been the most baptisms he has ever remembered since hosting mission groups.  I think these baptisms added up to over twenty so far in January.  A special thanks to Tim Smith our trip leader for diligently planning all year long; as well as our brother Gary Lively helping us along the way.   Team Members that participated:  Tim Smith, David Trapp, Mario Venzor, Jennifer Teal, Hannah Teal, Makayla Boyte, John McCormick, Dewayne Bell, David Lindsay, Hannah Bass and Whit Bass.

MY LITTLE AARON SOPHIA GETS INVOLVED

In the last village we visited and I remembered that Aaron-Sophia - my 10 year old daughter brought her stash of stuffed animals to me in a white bag as I was loading up my vehicle to leave.  She said, “Daddy, please take these stuffed animals of mine and give them to the children in Honduras”…. I have to admit I had no idea that the gifts that we would distribute in that last village would impact these children in the way that it did!  The picture really doesn’t do justice to what we witnessed.  The immediate smiles of receiving a cuddly animal brought such warmth and comfort to these little girls.  I was moved with compassion and so grateful that Aaron-Sophia played a part in our trip all the way back home from Louisiana.  Later this same day we gave other toys away as the crowd grew.  The entire village of about seventy-five people arrived at the chapel.  We were giving some toys away donated from an organization that donates food, Tom’s Shoes, and boy and girl action figures.   I remember one particular young adult lady stand-in front of me waiting for me to give her a toy.  I looked for the child she was to give the toy to but it was for her— I stood there not knowing whether to give it to her since there were many children who still had not received a toy.  I believe the Holy Spirit moved on my heart that this young lady may have missed out on many opportunities as a child and I immediately gave her the toy and she took it as if she were a little child!

HONDURAS MISSION TRIP STORIES & HIGHLIGHTS 2019
PURPOSE OF TRIP - Our purpose of going to Honduras was to train and encourage local pastors from the Olanchito region of Honduras and to have another part of our group going out into the highways and bi-ways of Honduras to share the Gospel and see what the Lord may unfold.

A TRIP OF EPIC PROPORTIONS - We were blessed to have Mario Venzor join us who happens to be very good friends with David Trapp.  Mario is originally from Mexico, but is now an American citizen.  He joined us on this trip and he has a TRUE gift for evangelism.  From the time Mario boarded his plane in Colorado, until we landed back in Houston; he had led 153 people to Christ in about a 6-day venture.  I was awestruck watching him operate in his gifting and there is more to come on how these conversions transpired!

Read John 21:11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
TRAINING REPORT The chosen curriculum to teach the local pastors was a book written by Andrew Murray entitled, “The School of Obedience”.  There were three men designated to teach through this book:  David Lindsay who lives near Redding, California; Dewayne Bell from Northwest Arkansas, and myself.  These men, other church leaders and even children attended and sat ALL DAY and late into each night as we did our best to teach through this material with Pastor Dario’s young adult grand-daughters - Davina and Laura.  The pastors were very receptive and on the second day of teaching, I opened up a Question and Answer time at the end of the teaching session.  The congregants asked one question after another for about a solid hour of discussion.  They were asking very pointed questions like, “What I thought the most important traits or qualities should be found in a pastor”?  We had great discussion and I feel as though we were able to minister to some deep family needs as well.  Teacher David Lindsay opened up about some struggles he had experienced with his adopted son from China and his vulnerability paved the way for about seven different family units to come down to receive prayer—and we did exactly that!   We first prayed for David and then moved into praying for each family unit.  This was such a beautiful portion of our training.

Another aspect of our training involved me taking a hand selected group of pastors and leaders through “Spiritual Warfare Training”.  I was able to purchase 50 books on spiritual warfare that I use personally in America for prayer intensives.  The title of the book I use is “Shadow Boxing” written by Dr. Henry Malone.  Dr. Malone’s ministry sold the books to me for $1 in the Spanish language and I also google translated about twenty-seven pages of the outline I use that is in English into the Spanish language for the Honduran leaders and pastors.  We took fifty folders of the outline and other important prayers to share with the Honduran Leadership.  Approximately about 3 and 1/2 hours was spent to teach on spiritual warfare and the Honduran Leaders soaked in this teaching time.  A special thank you to Erica Everding for sharing her Office Depot Discount Card to afford me to make around 1400 copies saving me approximately $250.00 in printing costs.  Thank you, Erica,!!! Pastor Dario also gave four of these books and folders to a pastor at the prison in Honduras, so that he could incorporate this teaching into his ministry there.

DAY 1 in Olanchito:

From there we went to the museum; I was introduced to a poet and a lady. I prayed for their healing and salvation, then after we left there we went to this store where we prayed for a person that was hurting and could hardly walk, I prayed for him and He started taking little steps. Then a group of eight got saved in the same store including kids in bicycles.
On our way home, we saw people playing soccer so we stopped and I called them over and I say I got good news for you “The Lord wants to bless you and save you, he will deliver you.”  The people started coming out of their house to listen to what I had to say. I told him today is the day of salvation and deliverance - the love of Jesus will heal your heart - He restores, He will deliver you, He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit. Then I ask them to lift their hands; whoever wanted to receive Jesus. There was approximately around 35 to 50 People, and about 80 percent got born again and we prayed for healing we prayed for deliverance we prayed for the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  All together we counted about 90 people getting saved today, many many delivered, many baptized in the Holy Spirit without knowing how many people got impacted on live TV or on live radio. We give all the glory and the praise to the Father - our Lord Jesus Christ for opening doors for his healing and delivering power saving people and breaking chains on TV, on the radio station and the Lord impacted this community. For all that was accomplished I give the glory and the praise to the Lord Jesus.  He said pray for laborers to go into the harvest so, I pray that by this report you will lift up your eyes and see broken and hurting people not only here in Honduras but all over the world. May the Lord bless you keep you make his face shine upon you and give you peace and I pray that the Lord of the harvest will stir up your heart to go and reach broken hearted, wounded lost people and by the power of the Holy Spirit.  make you bold-with  the good news of the unconditional love of God , I Mario pray that the Lord of the harvest will stir up here’s your heart to go and reach broken hearted wondered people in by the power of the Holy Spirit or make your bold to speak the good news of the unconditional love of  father ,All the glory to the Lord for his great mercy towards the people of Honduras and for his faithfulness, for the Lord is good and his mercy endures forever
Wrote by Jennifer Till -  As we prayed for the cripple man at the store, I laid my hands on the crippled leg and began praying in agreement with Mario.  I began feeling the man’s leg contracting and jumping as he was being healed.

DAY 1 in Olanchito:

Then we went to have something to drink and the two young ladies that were serving got born again on our way out of that cafe. I shared Jesus with the managers, a husband and wife. I asked if they had Jesus and if they wanted to get a blessing. They say no problem - we want to receive Jesus...  so, the manager and his wife received Jesus too... On our way out of the café my friend called me over and there was a radio guy calling me over and asked if I had a message for Honduras and Olanchito.  So, I proceeded to talk to them about healing the brokenhearted - The Lord delivering, the Lord open the eyes of the blind and breaking chains that bind us. This guy was so excited about it that he started shaking, he said on the radio, “I don’t know what is happening but I’m getting impacted by this message. I hope that you are listening to these messages are getting impacted like I am. You could see the goodness of the Lord all over his face, it looked like a shiny coin. I then proceeded to make the invitation to people to receive Jesus to get healed and delivered and. Then I commanded sickness and disease to leave people.

DAY 1 in Olanchito:

We then went to the park. There was in the park a lady and her daughter and the lady was sick. She was a tourist. I prayed for her and her daughter and both of them received Jesus as Savior.  She was hanging around with us all the time listening to the praise and worship because we were praising and worshiping the Lord at the park, she said I know God sent you here.

Then I talked to a family of four; the mom, the son and a beautiful young lady about age seventeen.  A little girl about nine years old - I asked whether they have had Jesus into her heart or where will they spend eternity, they said they don’t know. So, I talked to them about the way to receive Jesus and they got gloriously saved.
We left to go have something to drink; on the way out, people were still in the park. I saw four policemen they were looking at us kind of suspiciously.  I proceeded to tell them about the love that Jesus had for them, they could get born-again and get full of the spirit.  I asked to pray with them.  All four of them got born again.

DAY 1 in Olanchito: Mario

After the service and the program of TV was over, I invited the two TV anchors to receive Jesus and the 4-cameramen let me pray for them to receive Christ as Savior resulting in a total of 7 people born-again and delivered...  the Lord gloriously touch them today. the lady that was the TV anchor said; "My goodness, I got goosebumps running all over my body."  Later on, I found that she had a tragedy in her life.

When we came out of a TV studio, my heart went out to this lady - she was so small and malnourished; she had two kids with her, I asked her, "How are you doing;" she said that she needed to go somewhere today, and I don't have the money. I said, "I’m going to pray for you; I want to give you some money so you can go to that place; you can take a bus or whatever and help your kids."

The brother that was with me at the TV studio said, "As I he went by the lady and her two kids; he said to the Lord, if this brother really knows you, then make him stop and talk to this lady and minister to her and give her some money."  He later tells me this, "I know God sent you here because I prayed for you to stop help and pray for the lady and her two kids." So, he says, "I am so excited."

DAY 1 in Olanchito:

Well moving right along this morning on January 18; our team started the day full of hope and expectation and we went to eat chicken at Polo King where I asked the waitress if she knew where she was going when she died; she said, “No, I don’t.”  I said well this is your opportunity to receive Jesus; so, she got a gloriously Salvation....

Moving right along, we went to the TV station in town for the Lord had opened the door. Before we entered into the TV studio there was a kid selling pumpkins seeds.  I talked to the kid about the Lord and he got gloriously saved. Then we went inside the TV studio; channel 32 in Olanchito. They interviewed us and asked me what we were doing there. I told him how the Lord sent us to tell him about the love of God, the good news to the poor, deliverance to the captives, healing the broken hearts and giving freedom from the bondage's & Chains are broken (Luke 4:18-19 and Isaiah 61). Today is the day of salvation and the day of healing and deliverance, The Lord is willing to do that for you because he loves you too... I proceeded to invite people to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord & to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit ... to receive healing and deliverance.  I commanded the spirits of infirmity, sickness and disease and chains to be broken in the name of Jesus.

Honduras Report 2015

Hello this is Mario Venzor: Edited and additions by David Trapp, Tim Smith, Jennifer Till and Whit Bass

TRAVEL DAY:
As I moving on into the plane for Honduras there was an Empty seat where I was sitting by the window. I saw the lady on the other side of the aisle; come and sit by me. She was sneezing; she had the flu and I asked her what is the matter? She said, I have had the flu for a long time. I don’t know what to do. I said the Lord Jesus will heal you. But then I asked her if she was saved? She said no, so I immediately commanded the sickness to leave her and she stopped coughing immediately. She then received Jesus Christ as Lord.

Then on the way to the Mission house our driver and I sat in front. He started pouring out his heart, saying that he had problems with his wife...  They were about to get a divorce; I started sharing Jesus, how he restores. I ask him whether he was saved or not? He said, “No!” I said, well Jesus will not only will save you but he will restore you. He said I am so glad that you’re talking to me about the love of Jesus because this morning I was just at the end of my rope. He said, I know God sent you. He said I know that God cares for me because I was talking to the Lord this morning. I was asking God whoever He was for help. I know he sent you because this eight hours trip that I spent talking to you seemed like five minutes. I say well; the Holy Spirit when he’s touching your heart restoring you, giving you hope. I pray for restoration, I prayed for hope in his marriage and his 14-year-old.
