Tuesday July 12, 2011: Mary my granddaughter and I went out for lunch. She is 19 and
has all the anxieties of a young person going into adulthood. I was able to encourage her.
It was a good time. Once while here she sat in my lap and as I began to pray for her,
part of it was in tongues. The presence of the Lord was so present that we both began
to weep. My Chinese granddaughter Emily would look me up the first thing every morning,
sat in my lap and love on me and I would pray for her. This is one of the greatest joys that
there is, to be able to love on your grandchildren and bless them. I thought of Genesis
48: 10 where Israel brought his Grand children near him, kissed them and embraced them.

Gerald Brinkley and I were having lunch when my cousin Denise Patrick came in and
came over to us and announced that he needed prayer. He has cancer of the liver that
was found in different places. Denise is earnest as anyone who has found out that he
has cancer. Gerald and I prayed for him.
I am pleased to say that he is well and in the hands of God in Heaven.
We need to keep an eternal perspective!

This morning on the rig, one of the hands was complaining about his neck and shoulder
hurting! I knew right then the Lord was going to heal him; so I begin to tell him that I've
seen amazing miracles and that I believed he was going to be another miracle. I then
said, "Can I pray for you;" he said, "yes, ok." So I put my hand on his neck and said,
"Lord it is in Jesus name that I ask that heaven invades this shoulder; Amen!"  I told him,
"You are healed brother!" He sends me this message later saying, "I'm well, thank you!"
I said, "Thank Jesus my brother!"

I spent an hour with Dr. John Avant pastor of First Baptist Church of West Monroe. I wanted to be up front about bringing Bro. Charles Simpson in on June 3, 4 and 5. I only needed about five minuets but it was hard to leave after an hour. He gave me his blessings on the meeting and said that he would attend if he was not going to be in Central Asia. He knew of Bro. Charles, Bob Mumford, Derek Prince & Joseph Garlington. In John’s earlier days he was involved with a charismatic youth group and was instructed on how to speak in tongues and he did. For what ever the reason he did not see it as God. I don’t know if we are doing the best for a person to carry them into places where there is no hunger to go. Or could it be that we don’t leave the person in a place of faith in God to accept and understand the working of faith in a man’s life. I think that there must be both. I have been guilty of trying to take people into the baptism of the Holy Spirit when there was no hunger in the person for more.

Monday, February 20, 2017: Testimony by Andy Magee:
“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”
1 Peter 4:8
I met a man named “Gismo” who was a drifter.  Originally from Kansas City, Gismo chose to
leave his former life as an auto mechanic around three years ago.  Ever since this time, he has been roaming with his faithful companion, a huge dog.  I was initially impressed by his dog, stopped to pet him, and then struck up conversation with Gismo that lasted some time afterwards. Trying to dig into his world, I wanted to know more about the subculture that he lived in. How did he live day to day and what about the dog and others?  His life actually made me think of how the disciples roamed from one city to another to give a message of hope and reconciliation to a lost and dying world. Gismo, however, did not have a message. I asked Gismo if he was hungry, and I had my son go and get him a salad.  It hit the spot with him, and he was grateful. In closing my conversation with him, I asked him if I could pray for him. I asked our Lord to give him a new back and a knee (both of which were causing him problems). I also asked our Lord to make Himself manifest in Gismo’s life and bless and protect him in his journey. Pretty certain, but Gismo had hunches that I was a Christian, and he was waiting for a punch line at some point in our conversation. A punch line could have deflated every gesture of kindness made and invalidated my whole conversation and time spent with him. No, Gismo only received love (without any strings)….
unconditional love.

In Christ,

Andy M.

Testimony by Tim Smith

Sunday May 15, 2011: I called Tim Smith who was on the way back from Gainesville Florida
who had been there visiting his mother. On the way down his daughter had gone into the
hospital to have her three babies, they were all boys. He was torn as to whether be with
his daughter or go see his mother. He was able to talk and pray for his daughter as he
traveled. When he got there, she was on oxygen and on a ventilator. The doctors tried to
wean her off the ventilator and had to put her back on it. Tim was able to pray for his mother
several times and ask her about her salvation. He was confident of her salvation and that
she had become a believer in Jesus Christ.
Tim, in line at the cafeteria started up a conversation with a lady and the woman ended
up joining them at their table. Tim was able to ask her about her salvation and faith in Jesus. She was not a believer. Tim was able to lead her to faith in Jesus Christ. Tim also witnessed to his brother about the Lord, His brother was not ready then but he also had others around him who were also witnessing to him.
What a man with a tenacious spirit to serve the Lord! Impressive!

This happened on June 12, 2002 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

SISTER ULAMBAYAR’S TESTIMONY:
I am a pastor's wife and a worship leader in our church. Our church in Darkhan started in 1997 from a cell growth. Darkhan is the second largest city in Mongolia with a population of eighty thousand. Within a year, the Lord blessed us with considerable growth, seeing the church grow to a hundred worshipers in ten cells. Now we have about 150 people in 14 cells. Our vision is to have 100 cells, translating to a cell for every apartment building. Our church planting effort had
begun in 1998.
Sister Ulambayar gave this testimony during one of our class sessions: Several months before the Great Commission Institute, she had a vision into Heaven and there were two angels standing; one had his right hand raised and was blessing Mongolia. She said that she recognized one of the angles as being me with my right hand raised blessing Mongolia. Especially the eyes,
they caught her attention.
(The Great Commission Institute is based out of Hong Kong; It's purpose is to train new believersthroughout Asia. I served in this training on three different occasions.)
I remember that going into a country for the first time I spend a lot of time praying in the spirit. As I was there during the worship services where I didn’t know the language I would get up and go to the back and pray. I would pray in the Spirit with my right hand raised and I would bless Mongolia.

Friday May 13, 2011: In Matthew 16 Jesus is talking to Peter and the other disciples about a
revelation of Himself. Then He said that He would give him keys of the kingdom of God. The
purpose of a keys is to open doors of opportunity to share the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. We need to be sensitive of the doors that God is opening to us. When you look at a door that God is showing you, you can almost see Jesus standing behind it.

While in Nicaraguan a few weeks ago, I stood up to teach and as I did behind me a Dodge
pick-up truck drove up. It was a raised four-wheel drive monster. Two men got out and walked up. It was the governor of the state of Chinandega. I met the governor and invited him to stay for the bible lesson. After about twenty minutes he got up to leave and the Lord reminded me of the responsibility of the Church to pray for those in government so that we might live a quite and peaceable life. I ask the governor if we could pray for him and bless him. He agreed, so I had the pastors to gather around him and ask one of them to pray. Afterward he turned to me and said that I was welcome to come to Chinandaga any time. As we go back we will have our name and passport on file with his office. This governor is a key to open doors in Chinandaga, Nicaragua for ministry in the name of Jesus Christ.
