Tuesday, February 27, 2018: Last week Michael Stephens mother, Peggy
Juneau was in the hospital. She went in with a heart problem, and very high
blood pressure. While there she developed gout; she didn’t want the doctor
to touch he foot.
Mike Clark and Gary Lively heard about it and went up to pray for her. By
the after noon all symptoms were gone and she was discharged.
I talked to Michael Stephens this morning; he said she was doing well.
Praise our Lord Jesus!

Friday, September 27, 2013: At noon today, I met my friend Randy Causey
to get caught up in what the Lord is doing in his life. Right now, like most of
the folks I deal with as well as myself; he is looking for a church that offers
him fellowship. Relationships are an important part of church activity but
hard to find. Randy has had a good year in his air-conditioning business.
He continues to find fulfillment in the truck stop ministry on Sunday mornings
where he preaches to truckers in a small chapel.

I almost crossed that boarder
I almost crossed the line
I almost reached for something...

I knew that wasn't mine.

Until I stopped to ponder
That choices I now make
Are footprints in forever
Impressions I can't remake.

Cause every step I'm taking
I not only own
They're the inheritance of my family
I don't own them all alone.

So the footprints that I leave
Must be ordered by the Lord
Whether I run or if I stumble
My legacy is in the Lord.

Wednesday, September 25, 2013: This Afternoon I received a call from
Andy Magee who was excited about things that happened to him today.
After retiring from the military is a major Andy was offered a position at
Louisiana College; this is primarily a Baptist school. There he is teaching
pre-law and also working on his doctorate.
The Dean of the College and Andy had a meeting; where he mentioned
her name saying, "You need to get to know this lady, and she will be good
for your spiritual walk." The Lord has drawn his heart to this colleague;
a lady with a godly reputation. She is known well as a prayer, and also
a matriarch at the college.
Andy had met with her several times and was impressed to visit with her
today to talk about the baptism in the Holy Spirit. As Andy shared with
her the baptism in the Holy Spirit, she welcomed the things that he said.
He then prayed for her to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit; she was
wonderfully baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking and
tongues. What a glorious experience this was for him and the same for
me also. Wow!

Sunday, September 15, 2013: Ginger and I attended life group and
church services at First West. I received a call from Bill Murphy who
was passing through this area coming from South Texas and headed
toward Starkville Mississippi. He wanted to stop and visit with me.
We met at the Subway restaurant, where we had a good visit. He
spent most of his time listening to may. He is committed to helping
Jerry Linhares as he moves into this area. One thing that Bill said to
me that has really stuck is; Robert you have been a door opener for
many people and you are a door opener to Jerry now.

Because I'm Honored That She's My Mother - Ginger Lindsay
September 16, 2013 at 11:32pm

She taught me how to sing.
She taught me how to dance.
She taught me how to worship.
Not because she preached it,
But because she lived it.

She taught me how to laugh.
She taught me how to smile.
She taught me how to enjoy
life.

Not because she preached it,
But because she lived it.

She taught me how to listen.
She taught me how to care.
She taught me how to live love.
Not because she preached it,
But because she lived it.

She taught me how to love God.
She taught me how to honor Him.
She taught me how to live in faith.
Not because she preached it,
But because she lived it.

Though her voice was most often quiet
My mother spoke with fervor.
And she taught me how to live life.
Not because she preached it,
But because she lived it.

Thank you, Mom.
I love you!!

Wednesday, September 11, 2013: Jerry and I met with Brother Gerald Brinkley
at the Waffle House where we spent an hour and a half together. As we were
leaving we met one of Gerald's church members in the parking lot, a beautiful
lady of color, a godly person. We prayed for her and words of prophecy were
given over her. She was blessed as tears of joy flowed down her face.
Jerry and I drove to Shreveport where we met with Carl Rice. We had a good
visit and Carl carried Jerry and I to the Shreveport Club for lunch. We were
dining with the rich and famous there. The food was good as well as our
fellowship. We went back to Carl's office where we visited with he and Ellen.
We were handed a check for $10,000.00 for the purpose of Jerry's move.
What an encouragement and confirmation to Jerry and Susan as they move
forward for God's purpose in their life. We spent 3 ½ hours with this man, what
a blessing.
After leaving Carl's office we went to visit Pam Buttitta, her husband Jack was
not at home. Pam and Jack would like to have prayer meetings in their home
at different occasions with Jerry Linhares. Pam and Susan were close friends
at West Monroe high school; I also graduated from there two years ahead of
them.
Ginger and I met Robby at Delta Community College where we left him our van.
His suburban had broken a driveshaft and he needed transportation for a few
days.

Captives No Longer by Gary Lively

Captives No Longer

The stories from our past that shaped us and the words that were spoken

over our lives that have crippled us do not stand a chance in the light of
the powerful grace and mercy that come to us now in the Person of Jesus.
We do not have to remain captive any longer. Yes, God uses our stories
to shape us. He works all things for the good of those who love him, even
the horrible things. The holy work of God deep in our hearts as we have
suffered and struggled and wept and longed to overcome is stunning
beyond measure. You may not see the goodness yet, but you will. You will.
It comes when we see our lives through God's eyes.

In Jesus Service
