While ministering at a local church called “Powerhouse Church of God in Christ” Michael Clark and I were serving with Convoy of Hope distributing food. One car with 2 African American ladies pulled up. I simply asked how I could pray with and for these ladies. One lady had recently had a reconstructive knee surgery and was still having pain in her knee. I said a simple prayer of healing and commanded pain to leave her knee. After praying for the lady; I asked her to step out of the car to test her knee. She stepped out and to her amazement she was healed of ALL PAIN. She shouted with JOY lifting her hands praising GOD IN THE PARKING LOT. What a blessing to watch this all unfold.

Honduras Needs Our Help
I sent an email to Leonardo Cruz in Olanchito, Honduras the other day. I asked him why Bro. Dario Delarca was not responding to our emails. Here is Leonardo’s reply….. God bless you brother Curt. Say hello to Brother David. I am out of work. The radio ( station ) does not work. It has a damaged part. Businesses are closed and there is no money to pay for energy. Many brothers in the church are not working. There are many needs in the pastors and community leaders. We cannot visit them because they do not let people ride in their cars. In the mountains there is a lot of poverty. The government does not have the capacity to help everyone. The situation is sad. Pastor Darío lives in his house in the mountains he has no internet signal so he comes once a week to Olanchito. We love him in the love of Christ Amen. That night I heard the words of Acts 16 in my heart over and over again…. “9 During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” Acts 16:9 How can we respond to this cry for help? How can we come over to Honduras and help our brothers? Bro. Curt Covenant Life Fellowship has set up a means to help Bro. Dario and the church of Olanchito, Honduras. Financial offerings may be sent to CLF for this effort. Please be generous with your giving. Designate your gift “Honduras Relief Fund.” Send offerings to : Covenant Life Fellowship 850 Strozier Rd. West Monroe, La. 71291 Sunday March 27, 2016: A word of prophesy by James Morris on Easter
Sunday morning, "I believe in my spirit and prayer over the Family of God, there is a deeper revelation and a fresh New renewing of the Holy Ghost. Just as He rose from the grave; I believe the Body of Christ is going to arise in a new way today. In the name of Jesus James Morris. . Thursday, May 21, 2020
David Lindsay (Sorry. I couldn't help myself...) My dog had fleas He was covered from head to toe So I threw him in the garden And buried him with my hoe. You know he squirmed and whimpered To gain my sympathy But there can be no mercy For I hate fleas you see So now my dog is buried Now my dog is dead And boy, I really miss him But I have peace instead Some would think me horrid Some would think insane To despise my little doggie To cause him so much pain But did you ever stop to wonder Did you ever stop and cry For those we have rejected Because we didn't see eye to eye? So don't throw out the dog Just because of fleas And don't despise the ones you love Because you disagree Brother Curt and all the Brothers and Sisters in Jesus.
Pastor Robert. Blessings from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Apologize Brother Curt, for being silence... and appreciate your concerns for me my wife and the Church in Olanchito Honduras. What can we do? is the common questions that comes to us, when we found ourselves in the middle of the incapacity? Had been my question, having seen so many needs, the Lord had to work on mi, saying: be still, what I'm doing now, you do not understand...but; you will see it. I'm shaping my church, and humbling the world. What is going on? lord! please! show me more! how to share your vision? Reading Acts. we know that Paul was struggling himself to go to places that he sought the gospel was needed, but for two times, the Holy Spirit reveled to Him what the lord wants Him to do...Go to Macedonia. In our time, we know that the Lord knows that to travel to other countries, is not possible. But the Macedonian Message for today, is, gather support for those in need and find the way to send it. What the Lord is saying is that we are not to worry! but; to open our ears and heart to listen God's voice. And obey. The church in America has been and is so generous! but: we know that now, the situation is the same in the whole world. The question that the Lord has, was mentioned by Brother Curt...what can we do to help our brothers who are in great need. If this message is understood, then, we all will be ready, to say : here I'm, can not go, but can send support. This is what the Lord wants from all his children. We can buy with your support, food, and get special permission to go and deliver it. Family in Jesus! We love you all, and appreciate your prayers. your concern, and support. You know, that due to Dr advice, My wife and I, being at the age we are, and with Dora's health problems we need to be at home. The best place is the Arc. there, the Lord is working on us, and showing what He wants to do through us, wherever we are. Abiding! Love and blessings from Kenya. The Lord has continued to bless us. From the gifts you always send me I have almost covered the roof of our family home. We are left with a few iron sheets, windows glasses, plastering of walls and paint and floor fixing. I have attached a picture of the house. All the glory to Jesus. Caliph Ndemo Kenya The Imago Dei
May 18, 2020 The desire to be powerful transcends both social constructs and our boyhood dreams of becoming firefighters, policemen, NFL football players, Olympic athletes, fighter pilots, or soldiers. This longing transcends because it is the image of God in us. We need to look no further than the opening chapter of Genesis for this reminder. God formed us from soil into his image, then breathed us to life in order that we might rule and reign under the authority of his goodness. To share valiantly and effectively in God’s power was the first mission entrusted to humankind. With deep anticipation, God declared to Adam and Eve, “I want you to rule.” When we strip away the religious veil, this command is more rousing than we might first think; it is the invitation to become who we were meant to be. As bearers of God’s image, we were meant to embody God’s heart, character, and power, partnering with God to fulfill his purposes in our days. We were meant to rule, “like a foreman runs a ranch or like a skipper runs his ship. Better still, like a king rules a kingdom, God appoints us as the governors of his domain.” A kingdom is, as Dallas Willard pointed out, simply the range of our effective will. It is where we have say, where our will is done. It is within the context of kingdom language and kingdom thinking that we must reconsider God’s design for effective power-sharing with created yet creative human beings. Family Life Fellowship - Walking out the Vision
Almost nine years ago, God birthed in Suzanne and me a desire for a home fellowship group for young adults. It started as a casual idea of meeting together, but has evolved into something deeper. I personally came to northern California for the miracles, but in the process I began to hunger for something more. I noticed a group of people who were lost and unknown in the larger churches. I noticed a group of people who stayed hidden in the larger churches - with their pain, their brokenness, their sorrows or their sins. I noticed a group of people who didn’t connect with superstars and superheroes, but who needed personal pastors and intimate friends. I noticed a group of people who hungered so much to be ministers of the Gospel, but who felt relegated to sit, lost among a sea of faces, watching others do it from the stage. I have a vision that has been stirring in me for sometime. This vision is not a statement against something, someone or any group, but instead it is a hunger for more - more intimacy, more wholeness, more purpose and more simplicity. This vision is not for everyone and some would choose not to follow. That is good and that is God. This vision is not to start a ‘church’ because technically, we are the church. The church is the body of believers around the world. We gather as the church. The vision is to gather as a fellowship of believers. The vision is: To gather regularly in homes. To have personal pastors who know our names, our dreams and our deepest darkness. To raise up personal pastors, fathers and mothers, from among ourselves. To be a covenant community of believers who do life together, who pastor each other and who endeavor to see each person step into their God given purposes and giftings. To be a covenant community in which each believer has access to receiving wholeness. healing, deliverance and freedom through the ministry of the body. To be a covenant community of accountability and growth. To be a covenant community in which each member is an intentional disciple maker. To be simple but Bible centered in our beliefs and practices. No superstars or fancy performances needed. To be sent out by this family of believers into our purpose and callings. What church life could look like: Individually choosing to remain part of larger ‘churches’ in our community as we grow as a fellowship. Gathering regularly/bi-weekly in homes for meals, fellowship, prayer, worship, testimonies and the study of the Word. Gathering in groups of no more than 20 adults and 10 children. Identifying leaders and raising up new home fellowship leaders from among us. Multiplying into new home fellowships as we grow. Fellowship groups within the city could meet collectively for a Celebration Service possibly every month or bi-monthly in a rented facility or park. No building programs required. The primary focus is the fellowship groups and not the larger gatherings. Creating community outreaches in parks/neighborhoods with the goal of starting Bibles studies there and eventually a fellowship group. Inviting non-believers or seekers into homes to experience community around Christ. There would be no boundaries to where fellowships could happen. Fellowships could be started in other cities, counties, states or even countries. Training up and raising up those among us who could minister inner healing and counseling. Freedom to be messy, noisy, imperfect together just like family. Monthly men’s gatherings, women’s gatherings and bi-weekly youth gatherings where building friendships around Christ and the Word is a primary goal. Life Classes, Freedom Classes, Bible Classes and prayer meetings could be in homes or online. This is a vision for something, not against something. This is a vision for growth and moving towards building a deeper more intimate covenant community that gathers around fathers and mothers as we seek the Kingdom of God |
