Today I am to meet with a new man at Subway. His name is Rich Morrison.
Rich was invited to Bro. Charles meeting by Neil Powers. He wanted a copy
of the CD’s of the meeting and while there he bought as many of the CD’s
as he could afford. Like Neil he lived in Vietnam for several
years. We had a good visit and prayed for him, gave him some CD’s of Bro.
Charles. We will meet again.

Monday, June 26, 2017: David Trapp and Gene Norman went to see my
friend Mr. Jerome Adams. Mr. Adams was upbeat and happy to see these
two brothers. They carried a large container of gumbo with them. He did
not appear to be sick or tired; he had a lot of energy about him. They
prayed for him and it was a good time together. He didn’t want them to go.

Our second encounter was with two young guys that had two toddlers with
them walking down a street. It was hot that day so we pulled over and offered
them some bottles of water; they said no at first. So, we asked if we could pray
with them and it was like their whole demeanor changed. They agreed with
smiles on their face. I got out the car declaring the is Power in the name of
Jesus. We prayed with them right in the middle of the street with cars passing
by us. We fellow-shipped with them and Bradley started declaring the Word of
God to them and they were really receptive. I felt led to give them each a Bible
and told them their purpose was in the WORD.
We exchanged numbers and I hope to follow up on Mike and Nat.

Monday, June 26, 2017: Testimony by Andy Magee
“Therefore, I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the
laying on of my hands.”  2 Tim 1:6

At her first stop on a day of shopping, Doris came across a worker at Lowe’s
and saw that she was praying for someone in the store.  Touched by this,
she wanted to later encourage the worker by telling her how the sight of this
moved her.  Doris ended up not being able to locate the lady, so she went on
to get an item at the store next door.  When finished there, she sees another
lady praying for a man in the parking lot.  Being struck by the irony of this, she
goes to the lady and the man to encourage them both.  While there, the man
shares about how he is in excruciating pain with his back.  Doris then has an
opportunity to share with them both about how the Lord miraculously healed
her through prayer at a home meeting she attended over a year ago.  The lady
then encouraged Doris, saying “You need to lay your hands on him and pray!”
Doris then prayed.  After leaving and making her final stop at Walmart, Doris
runs into a lady who shares with her about her tremendous difficulties to include
hospice issues with her husband.  Doris immediately knew that she needed to
pray for this woman and she did.  She now shares that she believes the Lord
walked her through the earlier events in order to stir her spirit and build her up
to do this herself.  There is excitement in her spirit.  Praise the Lord.
In Christ,
Andy Magee

I met with Tim Smith at lunch today. He is advancing the Kingdom. Of late he
has heard a lot about the “Screw Tape Letters” Tim suggested to Shawn
Moncrief that he read it so he went out and bought it Monday and almost
finished it that evening. It spoke to him. He has been talking to his fellow
workers about seeking the presence of the Lord and walking in the Spirit,
reading the word, and living a righteous life. He has been teaching this at
Swanson’s a correctional institution for young boys. One of the men Cliff
Bowell at work said that he had been seeking the Baptism of the Holy
Spirit. He has almost given up and Tim wanted me to instruct him on how
he may better minister that gift to him.
I also shared with Tim about our plans with “Covenant Life Fellowship.”

I received a call and an update of what the Lord is doing in the life of Andy
Magee. Andy just retired from the Army and the Lord has opened up a door
for him to begin teaching at Louisiana College in Pineville, LA. There, he
can be a great influence for the Lord. This has been both a leading and an
answer to his prayer. Over a year ago, the Lord began to speak to me about
ending my mission trips to Honduras because of my back. I began to talk
to Andy about picking up that mantle for pastor training there. In January,
I took his pastor, Dr. Glen Whatley, down with us to involve him in the ministry.
I talked to him about taking on the pastor training. He has and he just
completed his second trip there a couple of weeks ago. Right now, they
have worked with the Honduran pastor to plan out quarterly pastor/leader
training on the Grace of God and the Gospel. Andy is the mission director
for his Church and his budget for this year is $52,000. This year, his church
has already sent two teams to Honduras, one team to Alaska, one team to
Turkey, and two to Uganda. To close out this year, he will be involved in sending
out two more teams to each Honduras and Uganda. In January of 2013, there
is good potential to send a team to Cambodia to work with a group whose
focus is on ministering to victims of human sex trafficking and towards the
training of Cambodians for mission work in blocked countries. Andy has a
nonprofit organization called “Grow and Go” that will minister greatly with
Louisiana College students and to those who are not members of the church
that he attends. Its purpose is to train, equip, and empower workers to bring
about peace and holistic healing to people both in our nation and nations
abroad. This will be accomplished through both supporting permanent
missionaries and by sending our people out on short term mission trips.

I was  to meet Kerry Moore at the Twin City Bible Church at 1:30 PM to
make CD’s on their duplicator of the Charles Simpson Conference. I got there
early and this young lady of about 19 years of age walked up to the van and
asked to use my cell phone. I handed it to her and she stepped under the
shade of the church and talked for a couple of minutes and returned it to me.
It looked as if she had been crying so I asked her if everything was OK;
she said it was boyfriend trouble. I talked to her about not marring a vacant lot.
She didn’t know what a vacant lot was so I explained it to her; it is someone
that has nothing on it. No job, no car, no money, it is someone who cannot
support her. I asked if I could pray for her. Yes, she wanted me to pray.  I also
asked her if she knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and she said that she did.
She joined me in the van and we talked briefly and I prayed for her.
The Lord touched her.

Today I met with Mike Clark about forming Covenant Life Fellowship. He that
this is what he has wanted for over a year. He asked about the money to open
the checking account, I had not thought about that. He said that he wanted
to be the first to sow into this venture. He gave me a check for $1,000.00.
Together we see some of the possibilities of Kingdom blessings as we stay
in unity. The first thing is to invite Bro. Jerry Linhares here to speak to the
men. Bro. Gerald, said that he would ask him to speak that week-end to his
church. We are already exploring the possibilities of going to Costa Rica to
help out in the orphanage.

This morning Curt Eberts, Gerald Brinkley and I were scheduled to meet for
breakfast and talk about forming a fellowship of covenant men that would
be under The Father’s House for tax purposes. On the way, I stopped for
coffee and was thinking about David Trapp, I reached in my pocket for the
phone, opened it up and realized that it was 6 AM here and it was only 7
AM there. Thinking that David would be sleeping late; I put the phone back
in my pocket. As the phone hit the bottom of my shirt pocket it began to ring.
I took it out again and it lit up David Trapp’s name. I couldn’t help but laugh
for joy. David wanted to thank me for including him in the meeting with Bro.
Charles, the mission trip to Honduras and for us joining with Bro. John in
ministering to his family. He is amazed at what God in doing in his family.

Gerald, Curt and I came to an agreement to join ourselves in this venture in
God to form what is in existence into something we can use in ministry.
This is what has been suggested by Bro. Charles and Bro. John. We are
not going to do anything now as far as official paper work. This is how we
see that it should work at this time.

“Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject
to us in Your name.”  Luke 10:17
When vacationing in Panama City Beach with my family, my youngest son
Stephen was praying for two things….(1) the empowerment of the Holy
Spirit and (2) for opportunities to share his faith.  With so many vacationers
present from all over the country, witnessing was something that was important
to Stephen.  As a result, he was able to strike conversation with the resort
security guard named Robert.  Robert shared with Stephen about his
aspirations to one day work as a law enforcement officer.  He also shared
with Stephen about his back injuries he sustained while serving in the military.
He commented that he must have aggravated it recently as he was in continual
discomfort.  Stephen felt impressed to pray for Robert and did.  There were
no immediate results, and Stephen also took the opportunity to share with
Robert about a church he and I visited earlier in the week and encouraged
him to try it out.  It was hours later that Stephen ran into Robert again, and
with a smile Robert told Stephen, “Honestly man, my back is feeling so much
better!  I guess I have to go to that church now.”  In addition to witnessing to
Robert, there was also Evenlyns, Lillian, Mr. Estaban, Mr. Curtis, and Mr. Caleb.
Experiencing God’s presence during these times has ignited a fire in my son.
Praise God. Andy and his wife Anna Maria are elated with what is happening!
In Christ,

Andy Magee
