Wednesday, May 21, 2014: I had my second visit with Rich Nadler at his home. He wants me to mentor him. We talked about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. I was not led to pray for him to receive today; I wanted to lay a foundation of faith first. I prayed for him and gave him a word of prophesy. We are to meet next Wednesday.

Sunday, May 18, 2014: What a wonderful moving of the Holy Spirit we had this evening at the Powers home. We were there for hours and it passed off so quickly because many things were happening at the move of the Holy Spirit. There was worship, sharing, testimonies, prophetic utterances and a short message from Bill Johnson at Bethel Church in Redding California. Afterward I prayed for a young black man named Marcus King; as I was praying for him the Holy Spirit fell and he was filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues like on the day of Pentecost. There were two others who were watching on who are interested in me ministering to them the baptism in the Holy Spirit. What a powerful moving evening we had.
Friday May 16, 2014: At 6:15 I am at the Park Vista In Gatlinburg, TN; I was led
to spend time with Jaye who was attending a real estate class. I prayed for him. He thanked me. Saturday May 17, 2014: I received a text from Casey Stover; he had a record number of 55 in his Wednesday evening class at Ouachita Baptist Church. Sunday, May 18, 2014: Neil Powers was excited this morning when I saw him at church. He announced to me that he and Mai just found out that they were going to have another child. Hello Pastor Robert!
I Hope every thing is OK with you and your loved ones. It is just to Greet you and to share with you one things that are going on over here 1.- The 28th and 29th we will be having the second pastor's and leader's conferences. We need your prayers for a blessed time in the Lord we hope to have 60 people As you know we are working by faith and do not want this finish...we need to have the fire on all the time is true that Satan is not happy when we gather to learn about the word of God, when we have fellowship, and humble in the Lord's presence. 2.- The. trucks that we use to transport the teams to the mountains are having mechanical malfunctions...just right now I'm in the shop, the power steering is being replaced. I'm praying with one of the brother for provision. e know that He will provide... we are certain of that. 3- We are praying for the road to the mission House. Please! help us we need prayers warrior's to lift this prayers with us to the Lord. Conscious that you are a Ministry with total vision, dare to ask our prayers for this. “This is love, that we walk according to His commandments…..”2 John 1:6 Tim and Mindy attended a biker rally and came across a man tattooed from head to feet. The thought came to share about God’s love for him, but both were hesitant and did not do so. This happened on two occasions at this rally where they crossed paths; however, they backed down for fear. Two years later while driving to a water park in another city, they talked about this man and how they believed they missed their opportunity to share. After arriving, they are struck by a man wearing a hoodie, carrying a backpack, and not looking dressed like most at the park. When the man turned around, both were shocked to see that it was the man they saw two years ago and earlier talked about. Both knew in their hearts that this was a work of God. In obedience, they went to greet the man and shared God’s love with him. Praise God. Thursday, May 15, 2014: Earlier this morning I received a text from Tim Smith.
He wanted to share with us about his experience praying with his wife Norma Jean this morning; she received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as they were praying together. Monday May 12, 2014: We had our usual Monday morning men's breakfast. The topic of discussion was Abraham's sacrifice as the buzzards came to take it away and how it applies to our lives, especially how it applies to Jay Segars who just got converted, and to our Brother Jerry Linhares as he transitions to North Louisiana. We prayed for Jerry!
The Buzzards can be, The terror of darkness, fear of failure, loneliness, nothing will happen, God won't show up and accept my sacrifice, The buzzard may dangle fleshly desires in front of you. You may think of others. Last night I had a night vision.
In the vision; I was with a group of men who met to seek the Lord. There was no spiritual life; each man was looking at another to do something. It was a dead meeting. Then the prophet spoke."Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you." (Isaiah 60:1) Who is to arise? You! Jesus, your Light has come! You arise, and shine; You will see that the Glory of the Lord will rest upon you. Our Lord is looking for faith that causes movement! Saturday, May 10, 2014: At the men's meeting this morning one of the first men that I saw was Jay Segars. He had a smile on his face, his head was lifted up, his face was red with a good flow of life, and he was radiant and talkative. He said that he had visited with his wife and children this week; they decided that they had spent enough time and money on lawyers. They would work out their relationship in peace. He had bought a small used truck in order to get back to work. He will be going to church and Celebrate Recovery tomorrow evening. He opened up in the meeting, confessing his need for the Lord and fellowship. We prayed over him and I gave him a word of prophesy. We are to have lunch together. He will need to stay close to our brother Tim. Tim is trying to get Celebrate Recovery into Swanson's Correctional Institute. Tim is bringing a new level of leadership to Celebrate Recovery at First West.
Friday, May 9, 2014: Andy Magee called to let me know what happened
at a Thursday evening home meeting where he was teaching on the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Afterward as he was praying in the Spirit; then one of the men there started stammering and speaking in tongues. Then he told Andy that these words kept coming to him, "God is here, God is alive, God is in me, God is here, God is alive, God is in me. He felt that it was an interpretation. Andy is amazed at what God is doing in this group of traditional church members. One is a pastor. |
