Wednesday night Jerry Lewis without knowing what was going on came up and handed Mike an envelope with money in it. Mike had sowed and immediately the money came back. All of this happened between Sunday and Wednesday of this week.
On Sunday evening, Mike Clark and three other men will go down to a small store front church by the river in down town Monroe. It is a real free expression of the Holy Spirit. They also help feed the homeless that live under the bridge of Sunday afternoons. It was there that Mike had met a couple that had four children; they hadn’t been married long. The story behind this marriage is; the woman’s husband had died and then she met this man that was a preacher. One day the preacher’s wife told him that she couldn’t live as a preacher’s wife and said I am out of here. Later these two met each other and were married. This couple is from Delhi, La. Sunday evening Mike ask the wife how they were doing. She said we had to pray the van all the way to Monroe and were going to pray their all way back home. Later God spoke to Mike and told him to help this family with repairs on the van. Mike asks Gary Lively to make contact with the husband and find out what the van needed. Gary calls the preacher and asks him what the van needed. He kept asking Gary why he needed to know. When Gary told him that someone wanted to pay for the repair; he started praising God with a loud voice. The man had just put the van in the shop to find out what it would cost to get it fixed. The struts were so bad that while taking his daughter to school having hit a bump in the road it almost threw the child out of the seat. Gary told him to have the mechanic to replace the struts and to do whatever it took to repair the brakes.

Mike had given his testimony at church on radical obedience, then went home and
worked in the yard all day. At about 10 PM he told Amy that he was going to Wal-Mart to do some shopping for her like he had promised. After shopping he needed to get some gas for Amy’s car. As he was waiting his turn to get to the pump he noticed there was a man who needed gas asks several people for money. When he got to the pump he left his wallet in the car and slipped $10.00 into his pocket. As he started pumping he noticed the man counting his coins. Then he asks Mike if he could help him out with a couple of gallons of gas. Mike slides the $10.00 bill across the trunk of his car to him. The man thanked him and began to tell him his situation. Mike stood there for half and hour talking with him and then prayed for him. During this time the tanker truck came up to make a delivery and the driver stood there and listened to them for the entire time. When Mike had gotten there he had to wait in a line but while this was going on not one car came up for gas. In Jesus Service Pastor: Mike Clark As I exited Walmart, going to my van, the last item to place in it was a watermelon.
As I reached over to get it a young Spanish man said, "Let me help." His name was Joel José; he said that they were biblical names. In the back of my Van, one of the children or grandchildren had placed two balls and a bat for small children which had been there for a long time; I needed the room. I asked Joel if he would like to have these items and he said, "yes" he has a young son. Joel was from El Salvador, a very nice man. Was this the Heavenly Father saying something to me about blessing him? I concluded that it was and asked him if I could pray for him. He agreed; my prayer was basically that the Lord would help him to be a good husband to his wife and a good father for his children and lead them in the ways of the Lord. This was a god time for both of us. In Jesus Service Pastor: Robert Lindsay I went to Walmart store to pick up a few things for Ginger. As I was going down the
aisle there was an obstruction ahead and a man a woman were walking toward me so I waited for them to get around the obstruction. As he approach, he spoke to me and we carried on a conversation. Can I say in my heart that this is the will of God the Father for me to engage him. His name was Mr. Easterly; a well-dressed man who was just a little bit younger than I. Mr. Easterly had just had surgery on his right eye; it was cloudy and he needed healing. I asked him if I could pray for him; we grasped each other's arm and I prayed for God to heal him so that he could see with both eyes. He and his wife thanked me for praying. In Jesus Service Pastor: Robert Lindsay In early May, Nate and I prayed with my daughter Heidi prior to her scheduled spinal surgery for bulging discs in her neck. Yesterday Heidi told me that when she had surgery in May that the surgeon didn't find a bulging disc, but did address a bone spur. Then she went on that Brandi had shared that Braxton was calm through his procedures with no high blood pressure issues he had previously and no surgery needed after Nate and I prayed for him. Then, she's telling me Brandi asked if we could pray for her mother in law Linda who within the past few days has been hit with reports of multiple tumors discovered in her body.
This chain of events started with pain leaving my foot through Nate's prayer. No skeptic's argument can touch the fact that I was limping before prayer but walking without pain after! By extension I submit that the personal experiences by the people in these described events have impacted them in a way that prompts them to seek The Holy Spirit's impact into their loved one's lives as well. All Glory to our Lord of miracles! John 9:25-27 He answered, “Whether he is a sinner I do not know. One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.” They said to him, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?” He answered them, “I have told you already, and you would not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become his disciples?” In early June Nate and I prayed for Bobby and Brandi Godina's six year old son
Braxton prior to an expected second open heart surgery for a heart valve problem. I learned yesterday that the Doctor scoped his heart, finding valve of concern to be in good condition and no surgery needed! Praise and Glory to the Most High God! Bobby's comment caught my ear, "It was like a miracle"! The request for Braxton's prayer came from my daughter Heidi who shared with Brandi how God touched her life through prayer. In Jesus Service Pastor: Tim Smith Earlier this year I requested my coworker, Nate Newton to pray for my left foot,
it had awaken me during the night with pain and I was unable to tolerate placing my weight upon it as I arrival to work. Nate prayed and the pain was fully relieved. Now to all those skeptics of present day miraculous work of our Lord's Holy Spirit supernatural manifestations I say take your empty argument elsewhere as my real world/time experience of Heaven's Kingdom coming down negates your denial of Yahweh's Power. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 Timothy 3:5 KJV As Charles Simpson has stated "A man with experience is not at the mercy of a man with an empty argument"! In Jesus Service Pastor: Tim Smith Mike Clark has one thing is on his mind, “radical obedience”.
There is a man that has come over from Tuscaloosa, Alabama as a contractor to do a service for AT&T where Mike works. The man’s name is Ronnie Mitcham. Mike is over the operation of north La. This week some of the men ask Mike to go to lunch with them and they had also asked Ronnie Mitcham to come along. After getting the food Mike said lets ask God to bless the food and then he prayed. During the lunch he asked Mike what church he went to. After getting back to the office Mike noticed that Ronnie Mitchem would come by his office door and pause. A while later he came and stood in the door way, Mike invited him in. Within two minutes he was setting there crying and pouring his heart out to Mike. Mike prayed for him and also invited him to church with him for the Wednesday evening service. At the Wednesday evening service which is made up of testimonies of what God is doing; it touched the man. He also met two of Mike’s men, Michael Stephens and Gary Lively. As they left and were in the parking lot Ronnie Mitcham told Mike that he was unaware that God was moving in such power. He said that it was a Devine appointment that he was in Monroe, La. Mike prayed for him before leaving. A testimony given by Chris Moon. A few months ago a guy had a
tooth ache; and Chris had the opportunity to pray for him and our Lord Jesus healed the tooth ache. This same guy had a hurting in his knee; as soon as he walked into the room where Chris was it quit hurting. Come on Jesus! This is a testimony from Andy Magee that happened just after he spoke at the Power's
home meeting. After leaving a wonderful home meeting, my son and I stopped to get a bite for the road. When getting out of the car, I quickly noticed that (1) it was dark, (2) there were no people around, and (3) I was being approached by what looked like an angry man with an agenda. Among my quick conclusions was that this may become a bad situation, but God causes all things to work together for good according to those who love Him (Rom 8:28). Do I run or do I take courage and dive into my fears? I take courage, immediately greet the man, and then begin to strike conversation with him. He was just released from prison, his family disowned him, and he had nowhere to go. This type of situation is very difficult for people like him. Think about it…..no car, no money, no job, nowhere to go? While in discussion with him, I pray continually for words of knowledge/wisdom and seek God in this situation. In talking with him, I realize that it is because of his repeated actions that his family has disowned him. I then ask him if I could pray for him. After praying for him, he is less guarded, diffused of his anger, and receptive. I prayed that he would recognize his family’s love for him, and that he would walk in humility towards them to help heal the scars that he inflicted upon them. After this, he says, “Man, you are right. I need to get this straight.” God freely gives wisdom to those who ask in faith (James 1:5). I am grateful. Andy Magee |
