Nick's Friend Ross
Great day for Robert and Nick
Wednesday, October 29, 2015: This morning I believed that the Lord wanted me to drive to Shreveport to visit with Nicholas Rainwater my great-nephew. We had a three-hour visit together. My niece, Amy her husband Michael Prokopf, Nicholas and Erin have become involved with Pathway in Dallas Texas; a heart transformations group. Pathway has made a big difference in this family's walk with Jesus Christ. Michael was saved and baptized there along with Erin. Nicholas related this testimony to me that was quite encouraging to him. In Nicholas' second session at Pathway, on Saturday night, Nick had a chance to speak to someone new by the name Ross. He went up to Ross and asked him if he was a believer and went to church. Nicholas told Ross that he believed that God had something special for his life. At one time Ross did attend, but in college he got away from church and became a partier. He has a wife, daughter and work that kept him very busy. Nick asked him if he would go to church within the next morning. In the service the next morning Ross came in and sat right behind him. Nick began to pray for Ross, he wanted to see something awesome today. There was an invitation for the church and especially the Pathway people to come forward to receive Jesus and be baptized in His name. Ross went forward, was baptized; he is now in church and leading a Bible study in his home.
A shoe manufacture decided to expand their operation and they chose an island in the South Pacific and sent possible managers to explore the possibilities there. When the managers returned, one of them said, “No one on this island wears shoes. I see no opportunity there to expand our operations.” Another one of the managers spoke up and said, “It is true, no one on this island wears shoes. This will be a great opportunity to expand our business because of the great number of potential customers.” Which one of these managers had a vision and which one only dwelled on the problem?
In our world today, we have talk groups that explore the problems of the world and our nation. We become legalistic; desiring to invent new laws and regulations to govern our society. The law only sees problems but offers no lasting solutions. What I see and what you should see are opportunities set before us to minister Jesus Christ to a lost and hurting world. Everywhere I look, I see opportunities to minister Jesus Christ to others. I see hungry people groping for answers! I also see a great manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit released from those that I associate with. We are filled with testimonies of amazing acts of power of the Holy Spirit. I am more excited today than I have ever been. Jesus, "Send laborers into the harvest. Thank you!"
A Blessed Occasion
Monday, May 25, 2015: Mary and Robert Fournier had a wonderful wedding. David and I have been praying about this union for a long time. This was a God sent glorious occasion with many manifestations of His presence. I have an opportunity to pray for Robert and also the minister who came from Wichita, Kansas to perform the wedding. Bill Pillar, Suzanne's father and I had an opportunity at the end of reception to pray a patriarchal blessing over our granddaughter and her husband. We were able to prophesy blessings upon them. Afterwards the minister asked me to pray for him; he bowed his head in front of me, I laid hands on him and blessed him also. I was amazed that I moved with such confidence.
A young man also asked me to pray for him. He had just finished college and was headed to the Philippines to be a missionary. I was able to pray and give a word of prophetic encouragement to him.
A Garage Sale Testimony
Miracle Garage Sale for Brazil mission trip
The day before having garage sale, I told my husband it would
be great If we could get $ 2000 from the garage sale so each
of us (Michelle & I) could have $1000. However, as I looked at
the stuffs we had, It was impossible to get that much. My husband
thought we would probably get around $500 for the items we had.
But we prayed and asked God to multiple it like the story of"
Jesus multiplying the fish and bread." And that what happen to
our garage sale. God really did it. We got $2130 at the end with
some items left. That is who our God is - He is a good father and
faithful to us. He never fails. We still need some more $$$ but
We know without a doubt that He will release it because we see
how he already did this in a garage sale. Thanks to all that helped
support us as we raise support for this mission trip.
We went to a restaurant for lunch the other day. The waitress who usually waits on us looked very tired and gloomy. After paying for our order, we asked to sit outside as the weather was very nice that day. The waitress came out and brought our drinks when we asked what was the matter as her countenance was sad. She informed us that she was diagnosed with cancer and was to start treatment at the charity hospital as she had no money or private insurance. The Holy Spirit began giving us words of encouragement for the lady. After some conversation, we prayed for her and words of encouragement and prophecy came forth that the Lord would lead her through this time and place her in the hands of capable physicians and she was to put all of her burdens on His shoulders. During the prayer and conversation, the Holy Spirit prompted us to empty our wallets and give her all we had which amounted to a little over $100. She refused it, but we encouraged her that it was the Lord who wanted her to have this and it was only a token of what He was about to do for her in the days to come. The next day, thoughts of discouragement and common sense crept in saying things like... “She made that up to get money out of you” as well as similar thoughts that rob you of your faith. Then the word of the Lord spoke something like this: “If I took the trouble to get you guys to help that person with money and words of hope and encouragement, how much more do you think I am going to do to help her ” ?
Thank you Lord for your Mercy, Compassion and Lovingkindness

A Divine Appointment
Friday, May 15, 2015: On the flight from Knoxville to Houston Texas I sat in the very back of the plane with Corey Stumbaugh. Corey is in the Navy and is an instructor in electronics. He was headed to San Diego California with his girlfriend. This too was a divine appointment set up by the Holy Spirit. As we were taking off our conversation flowed easily, it went to faith in Jesus. I offered Corey an opportunity to allow his girlfriend to exchange seats with me but he declined. He did not believe in the Bible or in Jesus Christ. He could not fathom the fact that a loving God would send people to hell. I told him that we were like the man stranded in the sea and would drown if we did not get help, but someone came along and through us a life preserver and said, "Take hold and you will be saved." Jesus is that life preserver and it is our choice to accept or deny him. And the loving God desires that each man take hold of the salvation provided. He said that his girlfriend was a devout Christian and would be pleased that I was talking to him. I asked him about marriage and he desires it but will be deployed at sea for a year and he doesn't know how his girlfriend can handle this. I was praying in the spirit for him and left the results of God's word in his heart. He doesn't care to have children because at the end of life it goes into black nothingness.
"shout an Amen, the surgery worked!" Dr Stefan Prada reports
Whit Bass and I went by Cajun Valve Tuesday to visit
with Joe Casiday. This is his testimony that came out
of the visit as Whit prayed for him.
Thanks for coming by the shop today. I feel truly
blessed. I have been suffering from blurred vision
for quite sometime now. It usually hits me in the late
part of the afternoon. I attributed it to the computer.
For the first time in years or so my vision is clear.
Prayer works guys!!! Thanks again.
