Thursday, October 29, 2020:

Flight from Dallas to Sacramento:
The Stewardess knew I had offered to pray with any staff. She walked down the aisle and lingered by my seat. She asked for prayer about her daughter and said they had not talked for weeks. We said a prayer right there. As soon as the plane touched down and as I was exiting the plane the prayer was answered. The stewardess was excited to tell me her daughter had sent her a txt that came through once her phone came back on.

Prayed with Police Officers at Sacramento CA. and on the grounds of the Capitol.

Old Spiritual Warrior

Susan found the book that we were looking for. In chapter 7, it is about Jerry Linhares ministering while a priest in Shreveport in the early 70's. A doctor wrote a book and published it in 1983.

From the book “ Mold Me & Shape Me” by Dr. John Graham 1983.

Chapter 7 is about a patient who was influenced by a demon causing nightmares of her home burning. She wakes up in the middle of the night seeing her house on fire. In terror, she picks up her child and runs out of the house. Upon looking back at the house, she sees that it is really not on fire.

From the Book:

“ Laurie was an attractive woman in her early twenties who looked perfectly normal except for a few facial abrasions. I soon learned, however, that she suffered from a horrible malady that, six months ago, I would have considered something from the realm of superstitious folklore.

On her initial visit, she complained of continual, severe headaches. “ It’s just like a constant pressure around my head, doctor” she said.

My examination, including X-rays, showed nothing abnormal except for some abrasions on her cheeks. As she hunched in a chair across my desk, I sensed that the Lord had brought her to me, and I prayed silently for His leading.

“ What caused those marks on your face, Laurie?” I was prompted to ask.

She ducked her head even further down on her chest, feverishly fingering a small handkerchief with which she had been brushing tears from her eyes.

Finally, she began to speak in tones so low I could barely hear her: “ Will, lately I have been having awful nightmares that awaken me. I am terrified because my house trailer appears to be on fire. “

Her fear stricken eyes pleaded with me “ Dr. Graham, I am so frightened. My husband thinks I’m going crazy. Last week, as I threw myself out of the trailer door, I fell face down in the gravel, dropping my baby.”

Dr. Graham suspected this to be caused by demon possession. He asked friends if they knew someone who was Spirit-filled that could help. They suggested he contact Father Jerry Linhares in Shreveport. Upon contact, Father Jerry agreed to meet with them. Jerry ministered to the woman, delivered her of demon possession and she was set free and filled with the Holy Spirit. Springing to her feet with great joy she proclaimed “ It’s Gone, It’s gone. I don’t feel the pressure in my head anymore.

Two days later her husband called Dr. Graham and said,” Doc, I don’t know what you guys did for Laurie, but I want to thank you for giving me a new wife”.

Several months passed and she contacted Dr. Graham to say hello. After seeing her radiant face, he was convinced that her deliverance was permanent and complete.

“ I want to tell you of the wonderful answer to prayer for the small child you ministered to at Life Tabernacle. This child had a tumor on his right eye...the doctor said he would never see in that eye. The child’s mother told me that they do not have to remove the child’s eye and that he will be able to see. How grateful she is to Jesus and to you for your ministry....”

Just led Dawson to Christ leaving Zaxby's... Wednesday

If you guys remember there was a young man in a black sleeveless shirt with tattoos sitting at a table with another man with a military cap on and another girl with blond hair. The Holy Spirit highlighted him and so I waited until he left and presented the gospel to him and he received salvation and I got to pray with him ab getting a job as well. Holy Spirit is so good. let's pray for Dawson to be set ablaze with the Holy Spirit and a standard to be raised against the enemy that may come in like a flood against him.

We Have a Spiritual Warrior

We have in our midst a noted spiritual warrior with a long history of winning souls for Christ. Brother Jerry Linhares began as a Catholic Priest in the 1960’s when the Charismatic Renewal exploded and changed the course of the Church and the nations.

Brother Jerry was in Shreveport at the time and ministered as a priest to many thru personal ministry and prayer meetings. He was led to leave the priesthood and began personal ministry as an evangelist. After moving to Monroe in the early 1970’s he became a personal pastor. He ministered in churches and home prayer meetings. He did it all...a pastor, bible teacher, marriage counselor, worship leader, preacher, and evangelist. He was noted for his boldness to minister the Baptism of the Holy Spirit to any who were hungry for a deeper walk with the Lord. He offered one on one pastoral care for all who wanted a deeper spiritual life. He had a large number of souls who looked to him as their personal pastor. From time to time, he and his wife Susan receive letters of appreciation from those Bro. Jerry ministered to. We want to include some of the comments for you.

Unforgiveness and emotional wounding

One young lady asked for prayer because she felt distant from God. The Lord revealed that she had unforgiveness and hurt in her heart. We prayed for God to alleviate the pain and heal the pain and I led her through a prayer of forgiving those who had hurt her deeply. She wept as tears streamed down her face.

Arthritic hands
One lady had pain from arthritis in both of her hands. She could not close one of her hands completely. As we began to pray she noticed that she could not close her hand completely and the pain began to leave.

Jamica was scheduled for knee surgery
I asked her to get out of her vehicle. She had severe pain. As I began to pray with her and for her the pain left her knee. I felt a surge of Energy released out of my body by a jolting. She told me that while we were praying she felt the pain leave and walked around some with no pain In her knee.
Another instance of arthritic hand pain was healed of no pain.

Tony head neck and shoulder pain.
I prayed with Tony and all pain left.

Foot pain and knee pain
I prayed with Loyce Who has been diagnosed with diabetes. We prayed for the pain in her feet and her knees to be gone and the pain left. We also prayed for healing for her diabetes. I actually prayed for healing with a number of diabetic people today that I did not record the total number of.

A large tall man by the name of Joe was also scheduled for knee surgery.
I had Joe open the door of his car and I prayed for his knee. Joe said the knee was about 60% better the first time we prayed. I prayed over Joe’s knee a second time and I felt that bolt of energy rush through me and in his body as The energy and power of the Holy Spirit surged through me into his knee. I asked Joe how his knee felt and he continued to walk on it and told me that all of the pain was gone.

Kimberly – abdominal pain.
Kimberly said she was having nausea and abdominal pain and bleeding related to her abdominal pain. I prayed with Kimberly and the pain left her abdomen and all the nausea left as well.

SALVATIONS
Mandy Brakefield led 2 persons to Christ today. I led 3 to Christ. Hiram Evans led 1 the Christ. Maria Haley Also I was a big hill driving down with Mandy to pray with mini who got touched by the Lord.
We recorded Six salvation’s today. The salvation I am most excited about are the two That former mayor of Jonesville - Hiram Evans was highly involved with. Mr. Hiram began the conversation during set up time with Bill. Who confessed he had a struggle with alcohol. Mr. Hiram began the conversation of leading Bill to Christ. I then began to help Hiram present the gospel to Bill and together we led him to Christ before the event got started.

Thanks Pastor!!!!

I prayed for a man in a wheel chair with neuropathy yesterday near the capitol.

He had relief the first time we prayed. Then the second time ALL PAIN LEFT HIS LEG.

Also was able to pray with 2 police officers at the home we are staying with.

One officer GUS broke out in a sweat as we prayed for him. He looked up at the light
thinking the heat was coming from the light but realized he had hadn't been hit until
we prayed for him. Praise our Lord Jesus
The power of the HOLY SPIRIT moved on these 2 officers!!! Beautiful MOVE OF HOLY SPIRIT!
