Sunday July 28, 2013: I attended a church service at Cedar Crest Baptist. Karl
Kaufman was ordained as a Deacon and I went there to support him this morning.
Karl is great man of God and he told me that a few days ago his son Gary
climbed in bed with him and asked if his daddy could pray for him. So. Karl
prayed for his son, then Gary kept talking and asking for prayer. This went on
until 1 o'clock in the morning. What a tremendous father-son relationship.

Thursday July 25, 2013: I attended John Rea's men's meeting where we talked
about the Kingdom of God. I was able to tell three stories about the works of
God. This stirred something in me. Is the Kingdom of God meant to be patriarchal
in the 21st. century? I believe that the Lord spoke to me that, "the Kingdom
comes down from Heaven through anointed men, it is not imposed, it must be
received to from bottom up by those who hear."

Friday, July 19, 2013: My 12 year old granddaughter, Emily and I went to the
IHOP restaurant for breakfast. Emily is so affectionate with her grandfather
that she attaches herself to me with joy. As we walk in she holds my hand;
it is cold inside so she snuggles up under my arm to keep warm. She was
loving on me and holding on so tightly that those in the restaurant took notice
with envy. What a proud grandfather I am to have this little Chinese grand-
daughter in my family. I fell in love with her the day I met her in Taipei, Taiwan.
We had a great time together.

This morning my granddaughter, Mary and I had breakfast together at the IHOP
Restaurant. We both like to sit and talk about the things of God. We had a
waitress who was on the job for the first time and asked us to be patient with her;
she was very polite and did a great job. As we finished, Mary wrote her a nice
note and together we tipped her more than the cost of the meal. As we were
checking out she thanked us for being patient with her. I asked if I could pray
for her, she agreed, I prayed for her and she was very grateful. As we were
leaving; she had gone back to the table saw the tip and the note and came
rushing out the door thanking us for our kindness. Mary and I rejoiced in our
time together and the presence of the Lord.

Thursday, July 4, 2013: We had a barbecue at my brother in-laws home in
Rayville. His family was there as well as my family; it was a very relaxing time.
This is the first July 4th that I can remember where we sat outside and enjoyed
a comfortable temperature all day with low humidity and a slight breeze. What
a day to relax. During the day I received several more text from Andy Magee.
Let me relate to you what he texted me today. "Robert, I believe the Lord
brought another divine appointment to me today. A master sergeant and his
wife, Joy met me at my coffee hangout. I had an opportunity to pray for his
wife who is getting treated or potential cancer." I believe Andy is finding his
passion in the Lord and to the Lord's purpose for his life.

I picked up my grandson Caelin at Delta Community College and we spent the
day together mowing the yard and having meals together. At 5 PM I received a
call from Andy Magee; he was excited about what God did in his life today.
He has been seeking the Lord this morning about his purpose in life, so God
began to renew his thinking about making disciples. He also told me that he
had read the first 70 pages of my book and it was inspiring to him. Today he
had gone to a coffee shop in Alexandra with this subject on his heart and it was
there that he met a young man who had a desire to be discipled by a man of
God. This very morning this individual had been praying for a mentor. They
have already planned for additional meetings and fellowship time at his home.
Andy saw the hand of God in a miraculous way as he prayed about investing
in others. Praise the Lord!

Today at 2:30 PM the pastor's planned and executed a wedding for James Morris and Stephanie Harrison. Pastor Michael Clark became the wedding planner; the wedding came off as planned without a hitch. Pastor Tim Smith officiated the wedding; which was his first.; he did a great job! Pastor Gerald Linhares did the premarital Council for this couple. This got their marriage off on a scriptural foundation. I am proud of Brother Jerry and his ministry. Mei Powers put together a wedding shower for Stephanie; this too was first-class. Mei also put together the reception after the wedding; she is truly a servant to the family of God, I am so proud of her. The pastor of New Hope Worship Center was gracious enough to allow us to use the church's facility. We are appreciative of his generosity. I know that there were others involved of which we are grateful.
Tomorrow we will say more about James and Stephanie

Friday, December 22, 2017: I was going to the mailbox this morning to check for
mail; as I stepped out of the house a vehicle drove up that I didn’t recognize. A
young lady exited with a box in her hand. She was making a delivery for UPS in
her own vehicle; she said that she was played mileage to do this. We visited for
a while; her name was Erica. I asked Erica if I could pray for her, and for what in
particular. She said that she wanted me to pray for her grandmother who is ill.
She wasmarried with two young children. I asked Eric if she needed a Christmas
story to  read to her children. I took her email address and sent her the story;
“Alvie and the Great Event.” I prayed for the Lord to blessed her and the family.

Testimony by Andy Magee

Wednesday: December 20, 2018: Testimony from Andy Magee
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.  I will
strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous
right hand.”  Isaiah 41:10
One day, Tyler was being sensitive and desirous of being used by God.
While  at a market, a customer came by to shop.  Tyler picked up that she
had something going on with her speech and while talking with her, he felt
impressed to pray for her; however, he backed out of this due to fear.
Confessing this afterwards to the Lord, he prayed that God would give him
another opportunity.  About four days later at a different market, of all people
Tyler sees the same lady coming by again.  With fear rising up, he knows
in his heart that this is a heavenly matter, and that he must take courage.
He prays and asks the Lord to help make this easy for him, and God heard
him.  Upon arriving, the lady brings up conversation and shares about her
present difficulties since she had a recent stroke.  Tyler asks her if he could
pray for her healing, and she obliges.  At the same time, another Christian
walked by, and they all pray together.

In Christ,
Andy M.
