Thursday, December 11, 2014: I received a call that Bro John Duke
my personal pastor passed into glory. He now has his heavenly dwelling
that suffers no more pain. Blessed be our Lord and savior Jesus Christ
who arose from the grave to make a way for all believers.

Praise His Name!

Thursday, November 13, 2014 This morning Covenant Life Fellowship board
members met the Kitchen to discuss the ordination of Gary lively into the ministry.
I have talked to Brother John Duke about this and his comment was, "This is the
purpose of CLF." This was a very positive meeting with an agreement that we
should go for it. After calling Brother Charles Simpson he wanted me to get in
contact with Suzanne Simpson to set up the time for Gary's ordination.

12/29/2018

Wednesday, December 26, 2018: Update from Rachel: Hello everyone! I have been in Uganda 10 days! I can’t believe it! It feels so much longer than that. Since then, we have already seen incredible amount of salvation's (about 10 a day) and have already seen blind eyes healed!! I personally got to open air preach at a crusade one night and 100 people came forward. I think many of them were saved already, but a lot were baptized in the spirit! It was incredible! I also had some amazing encounters on the plane. I got to witness to almost each person I set by on every flight, and I even preached about 30 seconds at the end of one my flight to the entire plane!!!!! No one responded, but I felt like that was more for me to get over fear of man!! I felt the Lords pleasure and delight, and I’m sure seeds were planted!

Our team is in such amazing unity and love with each other (continue to pray for us with that). God has also ministered to us as a team. One night we just started soaking together to some worship music and the Holy Spirit came so powerfully! We were all on the floor drunk in the spirit and experiencing the power of God. We did this for about 3 hours (until midnight)!!!!

We have done a lot of door to door evangelism and had so much response from that!! I got to witness to an entire Muslim family and they kept hugging me and begging me to come back. The Lord was healing a Muslim woman’s leg (I’m not sure if it was fully healed, but a lot of the pain left). It was amazing!!! Please pray these things:

Continued intimacy with the Lord separately and as a team
Continued unity and love for each other in our team
Continued protection (from diseases, wrong people, etc.)
Gods power would come in greater ways as we minister
We would have MORE SALVATIONS, MORE PEOPLE BAPTIZED IN THE SPIRIT, MORE HEALINGS AND DELIVERANCES, MORE GREAT RELATIONSHIPS WITH UGANDAN PEOPLE!

Tuesday, November 11, 2014: This morning Jerry Linhares, Cliff Bowell and I listened to a DVD on the "School of Healing" by Randy Clark. I believe the Lord had me to type up an outline of prayer for Cliff this morning. It involved a prayer of forgiveness and also a prayer of deliverance from different strongholds in his life. On the way over to our house God was speaking the same thing to him. As he got here, he still had the headache. I told him that we would listen to the DVD, go through the outline of prayer for forgiveness and deliverance and then we would pray for his headache. When he left, he would be headache free. We did all the above and when he left, he had no headache. Praise the Lord!

Jerry Linhares Personal Testimony 10/14/2014
I was at Glenwood Medical Mall yesterday morning for a walk. While there visiting with a couple from Minden, La. we prayed together. This was a divine appointment! When we finish our conversation, I began to walk down the mall; before I got very far an old man who was sitting on a bench began to holler at me and said "Mr. Mr." as he persisting, I could tell that he was in pain; so, I went back to help. His whole body was shaking and his arms were sweating. He said, "I'm having a heart attack." I said, "Have you had a heart attack before," He said, "Yes, I've had four?" I said let’s pray, I put my hand on his chest and I could feel his heart beating very strongly and he was in terrific pain. I began to pray, "Lord Jesus please come and touch this man; I began just to call out the name Jesus; Jesus, Jesus, Jesus touch this man. Jesus you are the one who cares about every man, the one who has the power to hear his request. I just kept saying the name Jesus, Jesus." Within a short time, his heart began to beat normally. Jesus was touching him. Then a couple of other people begin to come. We sent for a doctor who had an office in the mall. He placed a monitor on the end of his finger. The doctor wanted to know how his pulse was and asked, "Did you take an aspirin this morning Ed?" He had not. Ed's pulse was 68 which is good. I took my hand away from his heart, it was still beating normally. I let the physician take over and asked, "Jesus, keep your hand on him." Ed's wife came and then came the ambulance. As he was leaving on the gurney, he pointed to me and said, "Mr. thank you". It wasn't until later I fully understood what had taken place when the doctor said you have a 68. I believe Jesus had me there to pray for him as he was having this heart attack.
I have never encounter anything like this before, I saw the power of the Holy Spirit touch this man in the name of Jesus Christ. It's something that I will remember the rest of my life. I believe it was the Lord who prompted me by the Holy Spirit. I believe Jesus saved that man life one more time.

It has been awhile since we talked. We went out to minster to one the tribes in Kenya by the name Dorobo. These are people who live in the fores; some of the people here are very hostile. By the grace of the Lord, we spoke the Word; a good number of the people here accepted the Lord Jesus. As we preached from person to person part of our team was attacked but the; Lord delivered us.

We saw 20 people accepted Jesus. Eight people were healed from sickness. Two families were restored to the Lord. We begin a fellowship there with them and sent a brother back to take care of the new souls.
They fellowship in a house and we trust the Lord to have a shade built for them to worship on Sundays and any other day.

To God be the glory Amen

Testimony from Curt Eberts

Friday, December 21, 2018
Theresa who works at The Kitchen, has a 22-year-old daughter who had a seizure last Thursday and went into a coma. The emergency response team took her to the hospital and expressed little hope that she would make it to the hospital alive. She was admitted and was on death’s door at the hospital. A group of us who eat at The Kitchen were informed of this on Friday morning. Brother Jerry Linhares led us in prayer for her daughter.
On Monday morning we were informed that the daughter came out of the coma over the weekend and was taken off life support and was showing improvement. We met this Friday and Theresa informed us that her daughter was released from the hospital and is home taking food and improving daily.
Thank you, Jesus, for hearing our prayer and doing wonders.

This is something that I wrote awhile ago. I was reading it again and it reminded me of you and Covenant Life Ministry.

From Heroes to Fathers:
I LOVE HEROES, ESPECIALLY SUPERHEROES. Spider-man and Captain America are some of my favorites. They are bigger than life and inspire me from the big screen.

I walk away from those movies away feeling inspired and DESIRING TO DO BIG THINGS!! I love super heroes and love to see them in real life, but in honesty what we really need are fathers. We need someone to know our hearts, to care, and to call us towards greatness.

What is the difference between a hero and a father?

A HERO sweeps in, looking grand and glorious, and rescues the world from certain disaster. He then flies away in a cloud of splendor and is not seen again until another glorious disaster occurs. You, a bystander, will forever remain a face in the crowd, STARING AT AWE OF THEIR GRANDEUR.

A FATHER knows you by name. A FATHER knows the condition of your heart. A FATHER knows you individually and when he sees you, he stops to help remove the thorns from your side or offer an encouraging words and a smile.

A FATHER has time for you because THE CONDITION OF THE ONE IS THE CONDITION OF THE FLOCK.

LOVE is their anthem.

"I will also raise up shepherds over them and they will tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing," declares the LORD. - Jeremiah 23:4

What is the difference between a CEO and a FATHER?

A CEO checks to see that the bottom line is increasing. A CEO checks to see if everyone on the team is making it work for the team and especially for the corporation. Those who don’t perform are released. THE WEAK ARE LEFT BEHIND.

A FATHER checks to see if YOU are increasing. He sacrifices to help you meet your greatest potential, because the health of the weakest is the health of the family. Those, who can’t perform, well are meet by the father, on his knees, helping to remove what is hindering or infecting.

You will see a father helping to remove mud, tears, poop and thorns. THERE IS NOTHING THAT A FATHER WILL NOT TOUCH BECAUSE HE WANTS TO SEE YOU SUCCEED.

Yes, the world needs heroes. We all admire them. They inspire us to greater things, BUT WHAT THE WORLD REALLY NEEDS IS FATHERS AND MOTHERS, who give of themselves without counting the cost for the love of their sons and daughters. Fathers and mothers, WHO ARE NOT AFRAID TO GET POOP ON THEIR CAPE, but who give what is needed because of love for the one and because of their love for THE ONE.

"He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers" - Malachi 4:6

Yes, look for and find heroes! They inspire us all!. But more importantly, FIND A FATHER, WHO KNOWS YOU. Find a mother or a father, WHO KNOWS YOU AND WANTS TO SEE YOU SUCCEED.

"God places the lonely in families" - Psalm 68:6
