Pastor Robert,

Short testimony – As I was having a conversation with a co-worker at work, he began telling me of a pain he had been having for the last few days in his side like maybe gallstones or his appendix. I felt a prompting from the Holy Spirit and I asked him if he minded if I
placed my hand on his side and prayed for him. He said no I don’t mind so I placed my hand on his side where the pain was and I prayed for him right there in the shop. I didn’t see him the rest of the day but first thing the next morning, he came to my office and told me thank you for praying for me, my pain is gone! He said thank you for doing that and I replied to him I didn’t do it, God did that through the supernatural healing power of the Holy Spirit. He began to tell me that his wife has Covid and asked would I pray for her. I said yes, I’ll pray for her but I want you to go home, take your wife by the hand and you pray for her. I encourage you to do that everyday and I believe if you do that, you will see healing in more ways than one!

Thanks,

Kevin Nugent

Merry Christmas!
To all my brothers, and sisters in Jesus.
Being to only three days away from the traditionally celebration of Christmas,
I want to share with you all, the Love of the Father through Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
Indeed! We all know that the best gift that we can offer to our loved one, and to all the world,
is Jesus's love.
God Himself made flesh for the eternal love to his creatures, you and me
John 3:16 known by us, becomes the message that we should share with every body we get in
touch with. For God! So loved the world...
Because we are very easy to forget about this true, it is good to think on this season especially,
that the purpose of Christmas is Restauration!
To the non believers, and to the those who believe
Time to be born again for those who have not yet.
Time to restore what is destroyed or that is falling apart, for the ones who come today received
this gift of salvation! Jesus!
Our first love...Revelations 2:4
Christmas! Time of restauration !
(Lord! Forgive us for putting apart our first love for you and let us start a new relation just as
you want.)
Thanks! Very much for your friendship and for your love to us.
May the almighty Lord of all mercies pour his blessings upon each one of you.
Merry Christmas! And a more blessed new year .
Abiding in Jesus.
Dario

Power's Family Up-date

Powers Family Update Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from the Powers Family. It is time for our yearly update about our family and ministry. 2020 has been a different year that has caught us by surprise in so many ways, but it has been good. The chaos has caused us and many others to pursue the Lord in a deeper way. There was a popular book many years ago named “Experiencing God” that encouraged us to look around at what God is doing and join in. This year at times it has been hard to see what the Lord is doing, but in the process of time it is becoming clearer. Even in chaos, God is at work. It is time to embrace the moment and join in. Early in the pandemic, Mei and some other ladies began praying in a parking lot every Saturday morning. The prayer meeting has now moved to our home and others have joined in. It has been a powerful time of ministering to the Lord in worship and prayer. The presence of the Lord has manifested powerfully in that time. In His presence there is peace and fullness of joy. This is how the Lord responds to His people when they seek him. We are now seeing breakthroughs because of the time with Him. We encourage you to take time to meet with the Lord. The lockdowns and storms have caused a tremendous impact around the world especially in the developing countries we work with. Mei was supposed to lead a team to Southeast Asia in May, but it had to be postponed because of the lockdowns. At this time, we do not know when we will be allowed to travel back. This year we were able to send money to help many in need in Southeast Asia thanks to s o m a n y g i v i n g generously. $5240 has been sent and it was used to buy food to give away to the poor, start a community garden project, put a roof on a church, and provide money to families that lost loved one or had severe damage from flooding and mudslides. For over 10 years now, we have been sending money to help support a ministry I (Neil) used to work with when I lived in the region. Over the years, this ministry has taken many kids off the street and helped to place them in a shelter with a christian family so they can have a stable environment and get an education. They have encouraged many young pregnant ladies to not have an abortion and have assisted them as they started motherhood. They also have done many projects to help provide scholarships for children and food for the poor. Because of generous donations, this year we have been able to send $5295 to help support their work. Donations can be sent to: Covenant Life Fellowship 850 Strozier Rd. West Monroe, La. 71291 Please Write on Check “for Neil & Mei” All donations are Tax deductible CLF will send a receipt at year end. Contact Information: Neil: 318-267-5168 nepowers@gmail.com Mei: 318-267-5164 meipowers82@gmail.com This year our home meetings have changed. We did online zoom meetings for a while. Stopped and started the meetings a few times and then finally got to the point we realized we needed to make changes given the circumstances. It seemed like a reaction to the chaos, and it was hard to know if we were making the right decision. Now it is clear that the change of direction has been a God thing. The change involved focusing on a smaller group of people and this led to developing a team of people to minister together. The times together now are training, sharpening each other, and then the group goes out and does ministry together. It has been an awesome thing to watch it developing right in front of us. As the team has grown closer together and learned to operate in their gifting, other ministry opportunities have come. After Mei attended a women's retreat there were many ladies asking her to disciple them. This led to starting a small group under the church we attend at one of their facilities. It seemed at the beginning that this was mainly going to be a women’s group, but when we got word a few husbands would be there Neil joined in too. It has grown into a community of men and women, young and old, with many from other churches joining in. We have studied the power of a transformed mind to see from heaven's perspective. Each meeting has times of activations where the group steps out to minister to each other as part of the training. The team has helped to lead the group and has had opportunities to spend time with many that attend outside the larger gathering to pour into their lives. It has been awesome to watch the Lord touching people and believers stepping out to minister to each other. There is such a hunger in them for more. Even before this group started, the Lord was already stirring many of them. We have been blessed to hear many testify that 2020 has been one of the greatest years of their life. It has been a joy to be a part of this community and encourage them in their walk with the Lord. Looking back, we are amazed at how all this came out of a time of chaos. We encourage you again to embrace the moment, look around for what God is doing, and join in. Chaos does not stop the Lord. We want to say thank you to so many that have been a part of our lives and ministry. Thank you to those that helped contribute to bless those in need in Southeast Asia. Thank you all for your support and prayers. We love you. Please continue to pray for us as we move into 2021. We are excited about what the Lord has been doing, and are moving forward with great expectation. Blessings, Neil, Mei, Jonathan, & Abigail

Lost at J. C. Penny's by David Lindsay

I got lost in a department store once as a kid - JC Penny's it was. The sales guy had to call my mom over the store's speaker system. I was pretty distressed and embarrassed.
Of course, Mom wasn't far away. I just became scared and in my fear, I lost my ability think rationally. It was the end of the world as I knew it!
We often live that way
- like God has gotten lost. (Not us, but Him. )
- like we are alone in all of this and have to fend for ourselves.
- like the end of the world is at hand!

“God is gone! God is lost! It is up to me and all of life is against me!”
the Orphan Mentality.
and in our fear, we let go of our ability to reason with spiritual reason.
Did you ever realize that sometimes what we see as 'wisdom' is actually fear in disguise? How can you tell? Because Godly wisdom comes with peace. There is a peace from God that passes understanding.
You, where you are NOW, are NOT ALONE. He said that He would never leave us or forsake us.
And He in you is more than enough for every situation even when it is hard.
So, remember, if you can't see Him from where you are standing, you might be looking in the wrong direction.
Because, remember, God never gets lost. WE DO.
So, if you have misplace your peace and joy and love, YOU ARE PROBABLY JUST LOST or looking in the wrong direction.

Subject: Christmas Greetings from CLF

Merry Christmas  from your brethren at CLF.   At the recent Charles Simpson Conference, one of my theme songs was " Keep On The Sunny Side of Life"  Even though there is darkness all around us...The Son of God shines on all of us for we are His chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy people, whom God loves and cares for.  There is no real reason for us to be brought down by the darkness all around.
Merry Christmas  to the nation of Honduras.   Brother Dario and Brother Leo....the Lord is pleased with your crisis leadership...it has saved countless souls from destruction and won many souls to Christ.
I would like to meet with Bro. Robert Lindsay Friday morning. If you have any special requests that we can help with, please let me know.
Love to you and your families.   Keep On The Sunny Side of Life.

From Whit Bass

Tuesday, May 24, 2016: Testimony by Whit Bass; Hannah and I have been afforded the opportunity to minister at Baskin Baptist Church numerous times while the church has been searching for a Pastor to take the place of Pastor Marion Spence.  Hannah has had the opportunity to lead in worship there, while I have been privileged to fill the pulpit.  Since we’ve been serving at Baskin there are a few “take-aways” that we’ve been able to witness.  The newly elected pastor, Brian Rodgers, has been very bold by encouraging his congregation to step out in faith to put into practice what I’ve been sharing and preaching.  One recent testimony involved one of their church members obeying the voice of God and praying for someone in public that they did not know.  When the Baskin church member prayed for the person in public, they blessed the person in the exact way that they needed encouragement.  The people of Baskin have been hungry for the word and they have exemplified such a sweet spirit!!  We are very grateful for the opportunity to have served them in their time of need.

Friday, May 20, 2016: This morning Andy Magee in Pineville Louisiana will be performing his first wedding. When Andy was a major in the Army, he hired a Staff Sgt. to be under his command and over the years the Staff Sgt. has looked to Andy for spiritual guidance. Since Andy has retired from the Army; the Sgt. has been living with a young lady; unmarried. Recently the Sgt. and young lady have been coming to Andy's home church meeting; and came under conviction concerning the relationship. The two of them came to Andy asking him if he would do the wedding, and he agreed. Thursday as Andy was counseling this couple the Sgt. presented Andy with a real expensive watch. He said it was in gratitude for all that Andy has done for him over the years being his mentor. The watch and this statement were a real encouragement to Andy.
