I just wanted to remind the elders that I am leading a group of 19 volunteers from across the country to minister in Olanchito, Honduras Dec. 27 through January 3, 2020. This is a group sponsored by Christian Veterinary Missions to assist Dario Delarca whom you've met earlier this year over lunch at the Latin Cafe. We will be supporting Pastor Dario Delarca's ministry by providing veterinary services in surrounding villages and reaching people for Christ with the gospel and encouraging them with prayer and fellowship. Last year, we saw dozens come to Christ for salvation, several healed from physical infirmities and specific prayers answered in ways only the Lord can orchestrate. There was even a mission field within the team that was realized and the fruits of which will alter the course of eternity to His glory.
We need the prayers of the elders more than the financial backing but both are sought. Last year in my pride, I just paid the pharmacy bill to support the mission without asking for help. This year, the Lord is putting heat on me to ask for it and I know He will provide in my obedience to His calling. Our medical supply bill is $4,536.74. I do not want to handle any donations so I have partnered with a local 503c ministry called Covenant Life Fellowship, headed by Robert Lindsay. This ministry helps bring others to Christ through evangelism, prayer and discipleship. It also helps those in financial need via contributions and supports short term mission trips like this one. The address is:

For anyone led to donate, please have them make their checks out to CLF and in the memo have them write "CVM Honduras". Robert will then pay towards my American Express credit card which I have used to purchase the order. I opened a new account with a drug company called Mid Western Veterinary Supply and all orders with this company are going strictly to that mission. That is about as transparent as I can make it. I can share the invoices with anyone who wants to see them and the Senesa forms required by Honduras showing all drugs being imported with quantities , lot numbers and expiration dates. I am also accepting donations in the form of over the counter supplies such as bandage materials and other non prescription hospital surplus which we do not have to declare to the Honduras.
Prayer wise, we need it to cultivate and fertilize the field we are entering or our work will be in vain. Effectual fervent prayer by people made righteous by their faith in God's provision by the blood shed by Jesus for our salvation, will availeth much. This journey into Honduras is not a check list situation to make me feel better about myself. I have never been down there that it didn't please the Lord to bless me with demonstrations of his presence and love for me and others! This is what ignites me. I long to walk with him in that kind of relationship where I am privileged to have a front row seat to his work because I said, "Yes Lord, I want to be with you in this." I just gets crazy when when we get in-tuned to what He wants to do and we head His call to "Come on!". Any way, the prayer support is huge. It prepares the way for His Kingdom to come and revival results!
Please pass this along so others will know about it. We are already planning for next year and would love to have anyone interested to come join us!
Thank you Robert!
Thankfully in Christ;
Jay Warford, DVM
