Wednesday, October 29, 2015: This morning I believed that the Lord wanted me to drive to Shreveport to visit with Nicholas Rainwater my great-nephew. We had a three-hour visit together. My niece, Amy her husband Michael Prokopf, Nicholas and Erin have become involved with Pathway in Dallas Texas; a heart transformations group. Pathway has made a big difference in this family's walk with Jesus Christ. Michael was saved and baptized there along with Erin. Nicholas related this testimony to me that was quite encouraging to him. In Nicholas' second session at Pathway, on Saturday night, Nick had a chance to speak to someone new by the name Ross. He went up to Ross and asked him if he was a believer and went to church. Nicholas told Ross that he believed that God had something special for his life. At one time Ross did attend, but in college he got away from church and became a partier. He has a wife, daughter and work that kept him very busy. Nick asked him if he would go to church within the next morning. In the service the next morning Ross came in and sat right behind him. Nick began to pray for Ross, he wanted to see something awesome today. There was an invitation for the church and especially the Pathway people to come forward to receive Jesus and be baptized in His name. Ross went forward, was baptized; he is now in church and leading a Bible study in his home.
