week our family ministered to three different individuals with autism. One family
drove to our home from Vicksburg, Mississippi and brought their daughter (who
the doctors think is on the spectrum) with them to receive prayer while Hannah
sang songs to the whole family. The parents wept, as they needed encouragement
…sometimes families NEED encouraging. Then while at a church in Hixson,
Tennessee Hannah had the opportunity to pray for a young teen boy with Autism.
As soon as she began to pray for the boy he erupted in tears and sobbed as the
Lord touched him powerfully. Then after leaving the church in Hixon we visited
Dollywood since we were already in the area. Hannah met a young twenty
something year old girl who also had Autism. Hannah poured out her love
towards this young lady by riding some of the rides with her. The young lady’s
diagnosis was severe enough that she had to have two adult aides accompany
her. When Hannah said her goodbyes, she asked the young lady with autism
if she could pray with her. She agreed to allow it. Hannah prayed and the young
lady began to weep as the Lord touched her while praying and then the two adults
also allowed Hannah to pray for them as well! It was beautiful!
