1. Roy Ouachita Parish SESSION
Roy was depressed deeply. Had received a DWI and was drinking profusely. His father called me and two other pastors to please go by and check on his son. I went the same day that I received this phone call. I was employed by City of Faith at this time and met with Roy in a public library that evening since I needed a quiet room to minister. We met for about 2 hours the first meeting. Then the next meeting we met for 3 and 1 ½ half hours at his home. I prayed for him and for his home taking Roy through the Shadow Boxing Ministry Session. Roy has been alcohol free and has not been depressed since our meeting and is now back on track walking in fellowship with the Lord. I continue to meet with Roy on a monthly basis for prayer, support and accountability.
