God takes pleasure in His creation
When each creature thrives as designed
Be the strength of the horse
Or the sport of the otter
The song of the lark
Or the web of the spider
God takes pleasure in His creation
And God takes pleasure in you!
When you daily thrive
In your holy design
With joy and simplicity
His glory in mind
Not striving to be
The horse nor the otter
But in joy and simplicity being YOU
God takes pleasure in His creation
And God takes pleasure in you!
So find who you are
By the smile in His eyes
And the rush of joy that life brings
Cause God made you a part
Of a holy design
And the Father takes pleasure
In you being you.
