Ginger and I had a mounting up in the Spirit meeting in our home this afternoon.
We had 16 people here and it was a great time; Jerry Linhares was also here
from Starkville Mississippi. I had invited W. T and Bonnie Brown; Jerry had
prayed for W. T. to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit when he was still a priest
in the Catholic Church. This was a complete surprise to Jerry and what a great
reunion this was. The meeting this afternoon was exciting and it reminded us
old-timers of what we experienced in the early charismatic movement days.
One of the exciting things that happened was to watch Brother Jerry Linhares
speak words of prophecy over people in the meeting that touched their lives
where they were. I knew the people and I knew what they were going through
so I could marvel at the words that were coming from the Lord through Jerry.
