were walking in the Glenwood Medical Mall. After a few laps we met two men
that we know who also walk every day. Jerry and Harlan. Jerry was wearing an
oxygen tube and tank. I knew that he had COPD so we stopped them. I asked
him how he was doing. He told us that the doctor told him that he had a blockage
in his arteries and possibly a blood clot. I asked permission to pray and he said
OK. So, I laid hands on his chest and commanded his lungs and arteries to be
clear and strong in Jesus name. I took authority over the affliction and spoke the
blood of Jesus over him. He thanked us. Harlan reached around behind Jerry
Linhares back, grabbed my hand and said to me, 'Thank you for doing that.”
Then we went on our way. After another lap a middle aged black man crossed
over to us and said that he had been watching us and he knew we were
Christians. He told us he had been a pastor but was not in that position at the
present time. He was in spiritual recovery and really needed some help and
fellowship. His wife works at Entergy and they drive from Vicksburg every day.
He does not have a job, but he comes along with her, drops her off and then
comes to the mall to walk. We invited him to come to our Wednesday meeting
at Robert Lindsay's and he immediately agreed. So, John offered to pick him
up at the mall and drive to the meeting. He needs healing and I believe this is
a divine appointment whereby he will be met by the Lord and receive what he
needs spiritually.
