Mei went to Brazil back in the spring with an evangelistic group where they
ministered in prayer and witnessed many miracles. Mei told us this story. During
the ministry time, she had prayed for many who were healed. There was one lady
in particular that she had prayed for that was blind in her left eye. Mei began to
pray to the Lord to see His glory; she had never seen blind eyes opened. Some
of the other team member had seen the blind healed. Her prayer was “Lord let
me see one time the blind eye open. My desire was to see how it feels to see
this. “I want to see a miracle!” On the last day before they were to return home
people would be standing in line for prayer and the Lord was giving words of
knowledge. The woman that was blind in the left eye came up to her so she asks
her what had happened. Three years ago, she had gone to her doctor and found
out that she had a bad cataract that covered her eye for 3-4 years. The doctor told
her that she needed an operation but she didn’t have the money. Mei ask her if
she believed that the Lord could heal her; she said yes. So, Mei started praying
for her laying hands on and asking the Holy Spirit. As Mei was praying with her
eyes closed she felt the lady moving, she opened her eyes and the lady was crying
and moving. Mei begin to pray, “More, more Holy Spirit more, more.” Mei command
the cataract to drop out in Jesus name and was worshiping the Lord. She
commanded the eyes to restore. Amen! She told the lady to check her eyes to see
what had happened. Mei was holding the translators hand real tight and asking the
Lord to let heaven come down on her. The lady started jumping and crying, Mei
asked, what is going on; the translator said, “She can see, she can see.” Mei was
in shock herself. She began to ask, “Are you sure, are you sure?” The lady said,
“I can see, I can see!” Mei said that her faith level went up so much saying “This is
so good.” The cataract had popped out of her eye. Mei said until you actually see
a miracle you say you believe but there is a measure of doubt but when you see
God work it seals your measure of faith. It took about five minutes for her eye to
adjust to the light and began seeing clearly.
