Jesus said, “I only do those things that I see the Father doing.” How does this
work in a very practical sense? He also said that those that the Father has
given me will be sent to me. I don’t believe that it is our job to conjure up
something that we are to make it happen.
This morning I made a trip to the mailbox; as I got close, the mail woman saw
me and stopped. She informed me that today was Columbus Day there would
be no mail. She was very pleasant and talkative; so, before she left I asked
her if I could pray for her. Her name was Erica Chatham. She smiled and said
yes; so, I asked her if there was something in particular? And there was; her
son had just entered to nursery school and she was going through the motions
of turning him lose. She reached out her hand for mine, for prayer; I prayed,
blessing her and her family. My question is, was this something that I could say
I saw the Father doing? It you don’t move in faith will the Father show you more?
