Today as I was speaking at Landmark Nursing Home something strange happened.
I was encouraging the people with a message about the “Early and Latter Rain.” At
the end my aunt, “Dorothy Brantley got up to speak to the group in a loud voice with
red eyes. She said when she was a young person my Great Grandfather Arb Bearden
an active member at Mount Ararat Baptist Church would some time preach. He would
use a loud voice! He said in his message; "God was going to rise up his seed to be a
powerful preacher full of the Holy Spirit." Then with a prophetic voice she said; I was
that seed that God had raised me up full of the Holy Spirit to preach God’s word.
I remember my father, Willis Robert Lindsay on his death bed said to me, “Son preach
the word, God is real, I have seen the glory and power of the Lord.” He had a vision of
heaven and had been in the presence of God. I don’t see myself in that way at all. Lord
what does all this mean?
