and use these funds to send Christmas presents to them from their father. Tim
thought that this may be a good plan and move forward. (Jon Willink is
incarcerated)
While writing this story, this text came to me from Tim; pastor please see the
email reply from Jon Willink. The offer of Christmas gifts for his children as you
suggested. I will call later today to counsel with you on how to proceed. God
bless you brother and your heart of compassion!
The following is a reply from Jon.
Brother Tim, wow. I am overwhelmed by all the blessings lately the picture from
the Life Group brought tears to my eyes I remember each and every one! When
it comes to the mail I posted it up and my locker right away. When people asked
me about those in the picture, "who are they?" I answer "my family". I really can't
thank you enough. I was so grateful to you and God for that! And now your
willingness to contact my children. This brought tears to my eyes again. Yes, thank
you so much, I would like to do that. Their names are Elizabeth she is 14 and Mary
she is 13. They live in Arkansas.
As for a gift, well, they are hard to shop for, but a gift card always went over well
so that they could go shopping and get what they like. A gift card from Walmart
would be great.
