Jerry Linhares, Gerald Brinkley and me met at McDonald’s for coffee. There at the register
I was led to start up a conversation with a young man. His name is Bryan; in the short
conversation I found out that he and his friend had just returned from duck hunting.
He was a believer; I mentioned that I descipled men. I invited him to join Jerry and me
at the booth. Bryan said that he could not because he was with his friend Chris.
As Jerry and I began our visit, Bryan came over and asked us this question; how
does a Christian deal with sexual lust? This is something that all men have to deal with.
Bryan is planning on getting married and the second question was; How do you know
which is the right one God has for you? Gerald Brinkley came in and Bryan invited his
friend Chris over. Chris has been married almost a years in June and his wife is
expecting a baby boy in two months. The ultra-sound shows that he is a healthy baby.
Chris has been born again for two years, He goes to Oak Grove Baptist.
Bryan is from Benton, La. Right now he goes to La. Tech University and plans to go to
the Baptist Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. Bryan is seeking wisdom and wanted
to talk tous as older Christian men. We talked for over an hour then had prayer.
