It Happened on Saturday, June 22, 2013

I received this text from Michael Stephens. "Thank you and Jerry for praying for
me and the word that was opened through you both. God took what he spoke
through you and made it real today."
Later, I received a call from Michael Stephens, to explain briefly what happened
to him. As Jerry and I prayed for Michael; Jerry prayed Jeremiah 33:3 not
knowing that was his life's verse. I had told him the story of Jacob from Genesis
44:29 about Jacob's sorrow over the loss of his two sons that he loved. But what
he didn't know was his son Joseph was the ruler of the known world and that
Benjamin was eating of the best of Egypt. If we only knew what was ahead for
us there would be no sorrow. Michael spoke to me about us loving on him
afterward and how he felt the love of the Heavenly Father.
Yesterday Michael and his wife Rebecca went to see the new Superman movie,
he wanted to be entertained. As he watched the movie the Lord spoke to him all
through it. In Superman he saw Jesus fighting the enemy to save his people. If
Louis Lane was falling to her death Superman would be there to catch her.
God spoke to him so powerfully with that he wept through the entire movie as
God was speaking to him scriptures through it. Afterward he stood in the hall
way while Rebecca was in the lady's room and wept as people watched in a
bewildering way. He continued to weep for an hour afterward. Michael wept as he
told me this story, he feels better today than he has felt in a year.
