Saturday June 6, 2015: This morning we had a men's meeting at Brother Jerry Linhares home. I carried two of my grandson's and went 25 miles to pick up Mr. Adams my friend of 92 years of age. The room was full of men and we had Andy Magee come up from Pineville to share with us. He is a retired major from the Army and is now working as an instructor in prelaw at Louisiana Baptist College. He is also working on his doctorate. Andy will be speaking tomorrow at his church there in Pineville and it is his desire that we lay hands on him and commissioned him for this task. He has some anxieties! We laid hands on him and I asked Mike Clark if he would lead in this commissioning. He did this in a powerful way; Mike is full of the Holy Spirit! Andy spoke on the progressive move in the Holy Spirit in our lives. During his talk he pointed me out as a spiritual father. I was blessed! Mike thanked me for calling on him to pray for Andy. Afterward I had the men pray for Mr. Adams who is having treatment for small cancer is lung. And also asked them lay hands on my two grandsons and pray for them, that God would use them mightily as they became men of God. This was a good time for the men in the Lord.
