Saturday, May 10, 2014: At the men's meeting this morning one of the first men that I saw was Jay Segars. He had a smile on his face, his head was lifted up, his face was red with a good flow of life, and he was radiant and talkative. He said that he had visited with his wife and children this week; they decided that they had spent enough time and money on lawyers. They would work out their relationship in peace. He had bought a small used truck in order to get back to work. He will be going to church and Celebrate Recovery tomorrow evening. He opened up in the meeting, confessing his need for the Lord and fellowship. We prayed over him and I gave him a word of prophesy. We are to have lunch together. He will need to stay close to our brother Tim. Tim is trying to get Celebrate Recovery into Swanson's Correctional Institute. Tim is bringing a new level of leadership to Celebrate Recovery at First West.
