I went and picked up Jim Smith and went to McDonalds for mocha. I have been discouraged looking at all the problems that he is facing. I ask the Lord for some evidence of something positive going on in his life. We stopped by the Pilot store, he wanted to pick up some cigarettes and at Mc Donald’s we talked about air condition systems and electrical systems then he would go out and smoke. On the third time, out and back he said, “I feel more confident in my salvation and relation with the Lord. It is because of you being a friend to me and I love you.” He had tears in his eyes. I confirmed my love in the Lord to him. This sure helped me to know that the Lord is working on his heart. I am to pick him up in the morning and carry him to our Monday morning breakfast meeting.
