Thursday, March 03, 2016: It is amazing how songs come into your spirit as you worship the Lord. This morning as I woke up, I found myself singing and old Baptist song called "Blessed Assurance." As I sang this song; I sensed the presence of the Lord and began also to sing in the spirit (First Corinthians 14:15). As I was running errands one of my stops was at Mac's Fresh Market. As I went down the aisle to retrieve a bottle of lemon juice there was a lady between me and what I wanted to purchase. She just looked at me eventually she said, "How are you doing today?" This question led into a long conversation. Her name was Stacy and I asked her if I could pray for her. Stacy had some health issues, so I prayed for her there in the isle. She was a Catholic, so I told her that I sure do love Catholic people, they love the Lord. One of the things that she said was she loved the saints in the Catholic Church that had been canonized. I told her that it was a good thing to honor those that brought the word of God to us and also honor Mary because she has become the most honored woman in history, the Heavenly Father also looked down from heaven and said, she is the one to bring Jesus into the world. I talked to her about me listening to Brother Charles Simpson on a CD where he talked about being involved with Catholics. I asked her if she would like a set of CDs, she followed me to the Van where I gave her a set of CDs. Stacy said that she would be praying for me. Praise the Lord for the power of the Holy Spirit.
