I received a call from Donnie Burks telling me this story. On Friday March 30,
he went to get a haircut at his regular place but the regular barber wasn’t there.
As the barber was cutting Donnie’s hair he kept stopping and looking at him in
the mirror. After several times, he began to wonder what the problem was
because he is bald. Donnie asked him what the problem was and he said, I
see a glow coming from you that I have never seen before. Donnie spent the
next thirty minutes telling him of the goodness of God and the power of the
Holy Spirit. It was then that the barber told him that he was a Baptist Preacher
and he had just given him his sermon for Sunday.
Donnie thanked me for being there for him in a time of need and it was because
of my friendship that he was walking in the glory of God.
