It Happened on Tuesday, August 31, 2010

I had a meeting at the XMA office with Randy Pierce at 1:30 PM today. I wanted to talk to
him about going full time with his organization. He thought that it was a good thing and
was happy about it. As we closed, he told me this story. He said, “Do you remember
about four years ago at a mission meeting at First West, I talked to you privately about
being depressed and about to give up the ministry and close XMA down.  You prayed
for me and then gave me a word of prophesy that God had great plans for this ministry
and that I would see it grow.” I don’t remember the details of the prophesy, but he went
home and wrote it down in his journal. A couple a weeks ago God carried me back to my
journal and read it. All of it has come to pass. This year XMA will send out 80 missionary
teams around the world. Next year we are planning 100 mission teams being sent out
on short term missions around the world. This is coming out of Start, La. that is so small
that there is only one caution light in the town.
