I received a call from Ryan Soland today. One of the things that the Lord has been
speaking to him about is his service to the Lord. He has been praying about this. Yesterday
Ryan met with Ashley McIntire who recently resigned the church as the youth director and
went to be on staff with Extreme Missionary Adventures. This is a local organization that
Jerry and I will be going to Peru under. As they visited, there came up in Ryan a desire to
go on a mission trip. After they had finished, the thought of having to tell his wife Christi that
he wanted to do this challenged him. To do this and leave her with children would be a
challenge to her. Thirty minutes later Ryan gets text message from his wife telling him that
he should do a mission trip. He was so excited about this that he had to call and tell me.
