Jerry Linhares and I went to Cajun valve to visit Joe Cassidy. Mike Clark had
come by to visit him on Monday and told him some exciting testimonies. Joe
was telling us about a couple in the Church of Christ where the husband was
ill and hurting. The lady had read James chapter 5 verse 14 were it says to
call for the elders let them anointing with oil and the prayer of faith would heal
the sick. This church doesn't believe that but this is an upstanding couple in
the church and the elders honored her request. After they prayed for her
husband within 30 minutes his pain was gone and hasn't come back. Joe is
excited about this and wants to give testimony to what God has done for this
man. Joe was one of the ones who prayed. But this is embarrassing to testify
of in the Church of Christ because they do not believe an anointing with oil
and praying for the sick.
