I went to a disciple task force meeting at the church with Dr. Avant. I listened for the
most part. The question was what do men need and how do you answer that need.
Their answer was to bring in an out of town speaker. I shared that what I have found
out that men need to learn how to hear the voice of God and obey His voice. As
they do this God sets them on fire as they see miracles happening in their lives.
Another thing that I mentioned was I taught men how to worship God. These things
come out of a one-on-one relationship. The Church was based on family and
fatherhood. Growth is produced by a one-on-one relationship.
