Wednesday, July 2, 2014: I had received a call from Bonnie Moore who requested that I attend her father's 91st birthday day. I asked Jerry Linhares if he would like to attend with me and he did. I have been visiting with Mr. Jerome Adams now for close to 20 years. I have seen him move from a place where he hated preachers and church to where he loves his church and the pastor where he attends. Mr. Adams has become the family patriarch; he and I pray for his family each time we meet. At the birthday party he had children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, pastor and church friends attend. His grandson Jonathan publicly thanked me for investing in his grandfather life and paid for Jerry and my meal.
