Nicholas Rainwater

Sunday April 3, 2016: Amy Prokopf wrote this about her son Nicholas
Rainwater who will be leaving on April 7, 2016 for YWAM. Nick will
be three months in Hawaii for training and then two months in South
Korea doing ministry. We are proud of this young man!
 
From a very early age, Nicholas has felt led to serve people and show
them the love of Jesus. He never cared what the world thought of him,
which oftentimes resulted in heartache - from hurtful words spoken to
him by his peers to not being seen as "cool" because of his choices.
He could have easily chosen to follow the crowd; however, he chose to
take a path less traveled. This is one of the first songs that spoke to
him as just a young boy. And Boy! Was he on fire when he would sing it!
Now, less than four days, he will be leaving his home here in the US to
go overseas to minister, to love people, and to serve the Lord. In other
words, to become a true Jesus Freak! However, I consider my life worth
nothing to me, my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task
the Lord has given me, the task of testifying to the good news of God's
grace." Acts 20:24
