“A Wall Called Offense”

I build a wall
And painted it righteous
Each brick that was laid
I laid it for justice

I gave it a name
'Offense of the Humble'
Build solid and strong
I forbid it to crumble

I made it tall
No you can't climb it
And I hold the key
To the prison behind it

I build a wall
And painted it righteous
But in truth it is named
'Offense of the Self-righteous'
