Saturday, October 8, 2016: We had a great garage sale this weekend. The Lord is always
faithful. We sold nearly $800 and had tons of stuffs left which is a blessing because it helps
with the cost of my plane ticket to Vietnam and Malaysia.
The most exciting thing was we were able to pray and minister to people during the garage sale.
1. One person was gay that came and I felt the Lord wanted me to tell him “That the Lord
Jesus loved him” so I did and prayed for him. The Lord touched him deeply and his grandmother told me she needed prayer too. When I began to pray for her, God touch her so strongly thatI though she was going to fall under the Power of the Holy Spirit.
2. I visited with another couple; as we started talking the conversation turned to the Lord. I foundout they were pastors at a church in West Monroe. The wife said “can you pray for us”. So we prayed together and the presence of the Lord was so strong that my friend Jacky joined in. Later she told me that she feel the presence of God was so thick. Then Mrs. Linda (the minister’s wife) got a call from someone and I heard her say the Holy Ghost was here, she could feel His power and presence. After they left I got a text message from her asking what time are we were closing. They came back to ask for prayer for her daughter. Again, the Lord moved so strongly as we prayed together. It was like we were really in a battle fighting with the enemy and the enemy is defeated for sure…
3. Another lady came and bought stuffs from me. We started talking about God. She left and forgot to take home what she bought so she came back the next day to get it. This time the Lord wanted me to pray for her so I prayed and He touched her. Another lady that was shopping started saying this is what I came for even thou I didn't even pray for her. She received it and kept saying amen as I prayed for the other lady. …..
There are many stories like this that happened just in the last 2 days of garage sale.
The HOLY GHOST IS INSIDE OF US, IF WE learn to work with him, He will unleash his kingdom out of us wherever we are.
Thanks to everyone that donated and bought stuff as well as Donna, Kathy, and Jacky for helping me to set up and sell. Also thanks to Michelle for laying her jacket down which I accidentally sold and increased our sales.
