About six years ago Mike was reading a book and this truth stuck with him, “Never sell
what you can sow.” In Peru Mike taught on the blessings of Abraham. Mike had bought
a new red 96 Ford F 150 pick-up truck and he has been looking for other transportation
for the last couple of years. He knew that the Lord wanted him to sow this one into the
ministry in some way.
Sunday afternoon July 26, 2009; Mike and some men went down to Mike Perkins’ store
front church to help feed the homeless that lived under the bridge. While there as he
was talking to an individual he mentioning how blessed he was. The man prophesied
over him saying that Mike was going to go through a time of testing but that by faith
he would come out of it quickly. Later he was talking to Mike Perkins, asking him how
things were going. Mike told him that he needed a truck because he had picked up a
carpenter job part time. As Mike left there God started speaking to him that this is where
he was to sew his truck. Mike went home found the title to the truck and began to fill
out all the paper work to donate the truck to Perkins. He felt that he needed to tell his wife.
She was in agreement with what he was doing.
