One Sunday at New Day Recovery, at an open share group; James noticed a
guy with a hard look on his face. He had tattoos on his face, with an angry look.
The Lord impressed on James to give this man a word from Him. The man
walked out as James continued to visit with other people. As James left the
meeting; going outside there he was setting by himself in a chair. James saw
this as an opportunity to share with him. James told him, “I knew you were going
to be sitting here waiting for me.” James began to give him the word that God
put on his heart; “That he would have a profound influence for Jesus Christ on
the street in the place where he had lived a different lifestyle and God was going
to give him great confidence to reach out and minister to those in his past.” He
received what James was telling him; it was a God moment. Afterward they
prayed with each other.
