that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man
can accomplish much. James 5:16

Robert recently took a new job a couple of months ago. Having gone through some
challenging times in his life, he feels as though this job is an opening of a new door
for blessings in his life. As a result, he has been grateful to God. As a Christian, Robert
carries his bible with him to work. In his spare moments, he reads it whether in the office
or out on a job site. He prays for and asks for God’s blessing upon his company and
for the companies who are contracted under his. He also prays for direction and
guidance regarding his daily activities and tasks. Other co-workers see this uniqueness
about Robert, and they also see a countenance and spirit in Robert that says, “I care
about you.” In construction, there can be many ailments and health issues that
construction workers face. Through the prodding and working of the Holy Spirit,
Robert has had a few opportunities to pray for people while at work regarding their
health. One of them included the owner of the company who came to him and asked
him for prayer. Earlier this same day, his employer had tremendous back pain and
could barely stand. After praying, his employer later came to him thanking him and
expressing how much better he felt. From being barely able to sit or stand, he later
was standing and walking around the job site.
In Christ,
