about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?” 2 Cor 13:5

Ashley, a young believer in Jesus Christ, works for the athletics department at a private college.
For the past 1-1/2 years, Ashley experienced something rather unique while working around
campus athletes or attending games. Sometimes in the middle of a game, Ashley would be
watching the teams play and then out of nowhere she would have a vision that would come
to her as an immediate flash or picture. As a result, this picture would remain imprinted on her
mind afterwards. This occurred on multiple occasions, and although the pictures may have
been slightly different, the theme of these visions remained the same. It was snapshots of
campus athletes praying. Not knowing what to make of this or even where to go, Ashley began
to inquire of the Lord through prayer and through sharing with fellow believers. She began to
probe further by yielding herself to be used by God and by asking God to show her His way in all
of this. When knocking on doors or avenues regarding this quest, a door opened but everything
about this particular door went against her grain to move in this direction. The idea of it frightened
her especially when she considered that “she” would have to lead in this effort. Regardless of her
predicament, Ashley has taken courage to move forward in what she believes to be the will of God
for her. This past Wednesday, the campus began a weekly prayer ministry where from 12-1 anyone
can stop, visit, pray, or be prayed for. Praise God for women like Ashley!
In Christ,
