“ And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, raise the
dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.” Matthew 10:7-8
Jimmy (not his real name) walks down the hallway of a building and passes two custodians. As he
walks by them, he feels an immediate impression to pray for them. Within his intuition, he immediately
senses that the prayer is for healing, and when pondering this, the words “back and shoulders” were
imprinted on his mind. So he greets them and in his conversation, he asked them if they needed any
prayers for maybe their backs and shoulders. One lady said yes, and acknowledged that her back and
shoulders were hurting. Both wanted prayer and Jimmy began praying. In his prayer for healing, a word also came to him about pain in the knees and feet. When finishing his prayer, they both thank him, and he leaves. When passing by them again, the one who was hurting came to shake his hand. Excited and almost shaking…..the lady said that she did not tell him but her knees and feet were in bad pain, and when he prayed she stated that the pain just left her. There was great excitement and all three praised God. The custodians, who were both Christian, were struck that this Man of God would go out of his way to pray for people he did not know. They were also talking of how they want to give out what they just received by going out and praying for other people too. Praise God!
