according to his will, he hears us.” (1 John 5:14)
A month ago, Doris came across a worker at Lowe’s and saw that she was
praying for someone in the store. She was touched by what she saw. This
same day and at another location, she saw another lady praying for a man in
the parking lot. At a third location (the very same day), she came across a man
at Walmart who shared of his tremendous difficulties. Doris believed that this
was a God moment, and it was now her turn to take courage and pray for this
man. She takes the step of faith and prayed for him.
Fast forward to today... Doris is at Walmart, and of all people she runs into the
very man she prayed for a month ago at the same location. Not having seen
or heard from this man since this time, Doris asks how he has been doing. With
excitement, he shares that he has regained some of his weight back since his
sickness, and that he is doing so much better. The wife of the man leans over
to Doris and shares that much of this had to do with the prayer that Doris prayed
the last time they were at Walmart. Doris was again encouraged, and believes
that this is more than mere coincidence. Praise the Lord for Doris!
