who causes the growth. Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each
will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow
workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.” 1 Cor 3:7-9
Anna Marie and our youngest son Stephen were at the local wellness center
working out. Stephen was in the weight room and saw a lady who had a medical
boot on. He went to her and asked about her condition. She told him that
she had a stroke, and this conversation opened up the opportunity for Stephen
to pray for her. Afterwards, Stephen was approached by a young man who
witnessed him praying for this lady and said, “That was awesome…” During
this new conversation, Stephen expressed to him that it is the Lord’s work and
how good God is. The man then talked of how a lady shared with him the week
prior and prayed for him. When putting the pieces of the conversation together,
Stephen realized that this lady who witnessed and prayed for him was his mother,
Anna Marie! Anna Marie later shared with me that when she was sharing with
this young man, he spoke of another Christian man who spent time with him in
the gym and who shared with him. That man was the pastor of our church!
It is believed that this man is not born again; however, he is being drawn in by
the Holy Spirit and is searching. A thought for us all to ponder is how will one
ever know the WAY, TRUTH, and the LIFE without a spokesman or ambassador?
Praise the Lord for ambassadors like my pastor, my wife and youngest son!
