Saturday, August 11, 2018:
“So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.” 1 Cor 3:7
At a red light, a guy walked up to my car and asked if I could give him a ride. I quickly told him to jump in. He did not live far from my church, and I thought to invite him for a visit. I told him about our church body, and he said that he would consider coming this Sunday. He then told me, “You know, this is the second time someone has mentioned this same church to me.” He said that months ago there was a young man who shared with him and invited him to the same church. He said he was determined to go then but never did. He said he would come this time though. In a parking lot one night about 8 months ago, the young Christian man who shared with him was my son. This brings tears to my eyes when thinking about this…..I am grateful.
