“Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into
the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will
come to pass, it will be done for him.” Mark 11:23
Robert has a neighbor and friend who was recently seriously injured from a tractor
accident. With injuries sustained to the eye and face, the doctors explained that
there would have to be reconstruction of his sinuses and other extensive
procedures done. The doctors also prepared Robert’s neighbor to expect the
loss of his eye which was severely damaged and believed to be irreparable.
On the day of surgery, Robert had announced it as a prayer request amongst
fellow Christian men whom he has met with on Wednesday mornings for the past
17 years. They prayed. Later in the day when hearing an update, the surgery went
forward; however, much of what the doctors determined about the eye turned out
to no longer be true. In going in, the doctors found the eye to be completely intact
and its removal was no longer required. In talking with Robert about this, he said
that when he was praying, he “just knew that he knew.” Praise the Lord.
In Christ,
