Testimony by Andy Magee

For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.  Romans 8:14
Mike worked close to the local city bus station.  One day he sees an elderly lady seated
on a bench, and he feels a strong impression to go see her.  He responds to his intuition
and does this.  When talking with her, he realizes that this woman was disoriented and
did not know where or who she was.  When trying to help her, he realizes that she does
not have any identification in her purse, and he becomes somewhat frustrated.  After about
15 minutes and getting nowhere with this lady, Mike does not know what else to do, and he
prays for God’s help.  In his time of praying, the Holy Spirit impresses upon him, “Tell her
who you are.”  Mike then says to the lady, “I don’t know if this will mean anything to you, but
I am a born again Christian and Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.”  Mike later shared that
at the sounding of the name of Jesus Christ, everything immediately changed.  The lady
suddenly became responsive.  Mike was able to find out who she was, and he was able to
obtain information on her and contact the lady’s daughter.  When contacted, the daughter
was greatly relieved as this has never happened to their family before.  It turned out that the
woman had Alzheimer’s, and she had gotten on the bus travelling without anyone in her family
knowing.  As a result of Mike’s encounter, she was lost but now is found….Praise God!
